He did a good job in this video, I haven't heard the actual interview so I can't say how that went...Hopefully well, because that's where most people will have heard it.

Your argument is like a two legged dog with an eating disorder...weak and unbalanced.

im just sick of people having to justify their personal entertainment.

I personally don't like porn at all in fact i find the way sex is viewed in porn mildly offensive. However if thats your thing and it doesn't hurt me or others, or involve me shaking your hand i dont give a fuck.

Until people's entertainment starts directly afflicting living things like one's self, others, or people who flay cats for fun.

    I don't give a fuck.

that is why I disagree with something as obviously immoral as drug abuse because it directly hurts people, same with irresponsible use of alcholol.

However people smoking pot in some garage who aren't killing or dealing to minors, and are just relaxing I dont give a fuck.

Im not hypocritical, when your fun starts hurting people it becomes wrong and immoral, until then its your fun.

This is what Jack Thompson needs to figure out.

So basically you're all about cure and not prevention. Not saying I dont agree with you, but you must realise it's a two-sided coin. Your philosophy can easily be applied to videogames, we as gamers know more than anyone else how harmless (generally) gaming is. However in other aspects of life your philosophy falls short. There are many personal entertainments out there that seem harmless but can dangerously lead to something else, such as child porn.

This topic has been beaten for beyond death at this point. why not talk about another more interesting and important social issue like Gay Marriage or Drugs. Look the media has little to no influences on a person that hasn't already had an issue to be dealt with prior to the exposure of media. Problematic people are developed since birth long before they see a televised program, before they listen to music, and before they play a video game.

prevention is nearly impossible in any case.

The "falling short" realizes that prevention is impossible without a big brother aspect from hell, not to mention immoral in my my book.
