I know this has probably been asked, and yes I have looked through countless posts. But I still can't get a good answer. I know there are battlefronts for the pairings, greenskins v dwarfs, empire v chaos, elfs v dark elves. My question is, will you people able to attack anyone in the RvR areas? or do you have to stick to your pairings. Can you move around to the different fronts? Or are you stuck fighting one race? Flame away, I will be sitting in my pool till the flames die down.

Die, you will be able to join on any front with your chosen faction to attack any opposing in RvR and in designated skirmish areas.
I would suggest if you want more clear answers, got to the main warhammer site and read up on the stuff or go to a fansite to ask questions (you won't get flamed by "l337 PWNZORS or epeen forum gods" there).
For some odd reason of late every other post is one of argument "yo mamma posts" don't know why ,but mmorpg.com is starting to be known for that now.
From the videos I’ve watched you can move around wherever you want (in your level range). You can spend the entire time in a different area if you want.
Yes you can fight for your faction anywhere. You re not limited to 1 race vs 1 race scenario.
Thanks for your quick and flame free responses guys. I really hope the open RvR servers are good. And not just full of high vs low level gankers. I would at least like to play some of the game

It is impossible to gank in WAR because of the chicken.
It is physically (or virtually
impossible for high level chars to go killing lowbies in their areas.
Read up before you post man.
As for open RvR... I imagine the chicken's going to be on even there - ganking is no fun for anyone and Mythic seems adamant in preventing this.
I knew about the chicken mechanics for the regular RvR realms, but I haven't really seen any concrete evidence that they WILL be employing it in the open RvR realms.
You meant the Open RvR server or the Open RvR zones ?? They'll employ it on ALL servers the chicken is to keep Gankers from going to Lower RvR (basically the pvp area) Tiers it has nothing to do with Open vs Core rulesets
The best evidence is their stance on Gankers being dirty low life chicken cheating scum.
Realms != Server Realms = your people's home area & allianced factions areas.

The many video blogs that came out of Paris last month are an excellent reference to the state of the game... in one this exact question is asked., and basically as soon as you can get to your first warcamp (lvl 5ish) you can easily transfer to any of the warcamps in your realm..

yes - the chicken mechanic is to guard against higher tiered enemies ruining lower zones... it only affects RvR areas, not PVE.. so as a friendly you can hang out and power-level your friends or what not..
