Alright I'm relatively pissed

I have been waiting for my beta email now for at very least a few months, Not once did I get any form of notification that the game was going into open beta, and when I finally do find out I go to signup and no more downloads are allowed.
Now I understand perfectly that closed beta is something that they have to limit, and I can appreciate the need to cap open beta as well, but I am extremely pissed that I wasn't notified that open beta was available and missed out on my opportunity to try a game I've been looking forward to for quite some time.
If anyone knows of any way that I can get in on the open beta that's no longer open, please let me know.

it was well documented on the forums, the website, the fan sites, and even on news sites like this.
If your a huge fan... you really need to check a few different sites, not just wait to be contacted. When your dealing with hundreds of thousands of people... emails are slow.

If someone had came up to me in 1980 when I was on my Atari 2600 and said we will be playing games with thousands of people at the same time.I guess my response would have been,"but I only have 2 joysticks"

EDIT: Nevermind I got it I am open to suggestions now as to where to get the client, fileplanet doesn't seem to offer it the normal way anymore... terribly sorry for the trouble and I sincerely do appreciate the help.

All links are leading to a "I'm sorry, this beta is no longer available for signup" style page, the torrent is my best hope.I'm still looking for a direct download, the last thing I want is do get it downloaded at the normal 5-30KB/s torrents give me and have it passworded
