I cant believe this game sucks the way it sucked upon launch.
I cant believe people like Vlad and Grendel's mother still play..
You guys are like heroes. I couldnt go more than a year after release. I was one of the lucky people who played in release!
And all those talks about RV's potential, small company and all that shit in defence of a boring crappy game is as relevant now as it was back then.
This game drains you out in so many ways.
I would love to just go in to the forums and scream FUCK YOU on to KFR and to his fucking team that made such a horrible job in making a game but a great one in to lying on features and gameplay. If it made a difference.
Well i can do it here and say to all those who are interested in joining. Make a whole bloody research about it before you decide to buy it.

5000 x 40 $ = 200.000 $
How many keys have they sold since, 5k more, 10 k , even 15k ?
Taking into account the massive money some people gave to buy online money - Verm i think this small team of developers i would say they made more like 500 k.
With exaggeration i would say 1million. And i say with exaggeration because i havent been around for more than a year.
Well with the rate with game proggressing this is not bad for a part time income besides your regular job right ?
No wonder why they refuse so badly to take upon more people to help them. They even refuse to take it for free.
Well i have to say, not bad not bad at all.
Even if they decided to leave the "project'" now, they still would have made quite a reasonable profit.
I remember a few months after launch we were commenting in -game about how the game feels, and one guy said, its like this game is being made by students in a university. Its bad and the rate of making it better is from slow to snail to non existant.
I just wish there was a trial to give it a go!
If it sucked during release and it sucks now then don't you think this game just sucks period? KFR is a dumbass. All that still play are dumbasses too for putting money into his pockets. Need I say more?
Well only plus this game has is it will probably run for a while.
The devs are mostly part timers and thus run it as a side project.No matter if they don't even code anymore there will still be at least 50 actively playing it as they are now kings of some mmorpg.
Each time they need money they can just cry that they have no money to run the game and this 50 will donate via VERM $100 which is easy $5k
Honestly i think RV is the biggest mmorpg con ever next to DnL.They easily made $300k from selling a game which is in same league like DnL.
Their marketing was also brillant and probably explained inital sales despite it getting horrible reviews.
Buy once and never have to pay monthly sub.This was very attractive to quite a few and ofc then they saw why.
Actually the latest news seems to indicate the game is not the primary project anymore.
Mainly it's the engine that RedBedlam has been working on. I believe Roma Victor is KFR's sort of test project for the engine since now they employed some guy to help market and sell the engine to be able to developers make games (Virtual Worlds) similar to Roma Victor probably even better.
The engine now seems fine I think. It's been a while since a lot of players were on it all at once, but the game itself is badly done, with little organisation or design. Balance, bugs, design flaws....the works.
The fact I've noticed is, they focus less on balance, game design flaws, NPC vendor price balancing bla bla bla and focus more on getting more game engine changes. A good example is Ballistics.
RedBedlam are offering their engine for anyone to purchase. They are even working on mounts and Boat travel for Roma Victor. RedBedlam puts little effort into the game itself, and more into the engine. I think that explains everything.
Anyway thats my theory and explanation. Explains the extremely slow and useless updates and fixes and rule changes which make the game even worse.
Whoa, I think you guys are overreacting. Roma Victor really isn't that bad anymore. In fact, the Developers definately made it more polished over the last few months.
