I am freaking amazed by the quality of one of the images of AION.

That one.

So If you want to help, plz, Bump this image to at least 300 o 3000 or something big, because this deserve it.

Is a f*  masterpiece. A incredible piece of digital art.

    What's so special about it?

It's a woman standing there in a forest. My computer can't run a game with graphics like that and neither can 90% of computer users. The only ones who can run a game like that with those graphics are ones who are all anal about getting the best possible graphics in their FPSs.... who are probably not going to play the game because they spent XXXXX on their machines to play FPSs.

I see model reuse, high res textures in place of polygons, minimal lighting, and minmal reflections off water.

I predict system requirements slightly higher than guildwars.

I find it amazing that by 2020 first world countries will be competing to get immigrants.

Actually if you look at the details you'll see its actually not that bad graphics processing wise.

For instance notice the range which everything hazes out in that image [could be a weather effect no way of telling really].

Another great example of Moore's Law. Give people access to that much space (developers and users alike) and they'll find uses for it that you can never imagine. "640K ought to be enough for anybody" - Bill Gates 1981

Looks pretty good, but that's no guarantee that the game will be good, and in the end it's the game play that's the main aspect and not the graphics.

heh, im flattered, a thread about an image I uploaded :P

    About questions and doubts.

Yes, your computer will be able to run it, if you're able to run farcry, Im quite sure most of the people here can. Someone with a 7900 reported that he could run the game flawlessly on top details/AA in filled towns while frapsing.

PaulScott is right, requirements are slightly higher than GW's.

Yes, it's a weather effect, cryengine generates a lot of them and the rain/fog in Aion is awesome.

And godliest, nobody is discussing here about gameplay, however, you don't have to choose between graphics and gameplay, that's a poor excuse from developers, Aion might have both, or not, so far beta reports say it has both, but lets not judge the gameplay from graphics cause that's incredibly wrong.
