you guys run the OPEN BETA client and then go around writing reviews about how bad the game is and whine about how they need to fix the game before release.. bla bla bla. Do you not realize that this is an old client that is running debug? No dual core support, no v-sync, it's not optimized and its an old client. Stop crying about lag and how you hate the game. Wooo Hooo you un-installed it! that'll show FunCom, You sure stuck it to the "man" there! Want a cookie? Oh wait, Its an old client with hardly any support hah.

No, not true dude. It's the same client for CB and OB atm, and before the pvp patch reviews were very good. Though after the last patch (lvl20 pvp), people are complaining about bad performances in open world pvp.

Open Beta isent a free trail.. it is a testing phase so stop whining and look forward to releash

Then they keep the real beta under NDA so that we won't get information what kind of game the real game is, but release a small part of the game as an open beta, to work like a preview of the game.
And we get tons of fans telling us that we shouldn't judge game based on beta when the company selling the game is practically screaming "Judge the game based on this and buy now to be one of the privilidged preorderers!" with every action they take.
EDIT: I just noticed that even now at the bottom of this page is Funcom advertisement telling to "Preorder now and receive free ingame bonus item" /EDIT
Ummmm..isn't the game releasing in 10 days? It's no where close to being ready from what I gather.
All a matter of a player's expectations I suspect. If you are willing to overlook some of its flaws, then its ready to do. If not, you'll be of the opinion that it requires more time.

I don't know what or how you gather information but it's wrong lol. Player reviews are very positive after the last patch and even some past haters started to admit the game is shaping up for a good release.
ye apart everyone with high end pc got their performance trow to garbage can.. my performance dropped 2x.. no matter how i love game.. if i dont get my early access code.. which i should had yesterday ill cancel my preorder. and early access codes distribution is funcoms deals.. if you cant generate last few thousands.. dont be surpised last few thousands preorders gonna disapear..
Even with the current bugs, IMO the game is more fun than any other MMO out right now. This game has a bright future.
Anyone in closed beta could tell you they aren't the same client. The OB client isn't 'months old' but it isn't the same as the CB one.
As to the patch yesterday, overall most folks got way better performance. I was standing around about 60 folks today in Cimmeria with medium settings on my old pc and was getting 20+ FPS. It was quite awesome. I haven't crashed in days, and load times are easily 1/2 what they used to be.
Course, I'm in the middle of building an extremely high end PC right now that will be complete by the 17th so I can play the game in all it's glory.
Yea I know the patch was great but I'm talking about the last one (where u get to lvl20 and get to free pvp etc.), some are reporting performance issues.The 2 clients in OB and CB are the same just patched a little differently before OB launched, though now I think they're the same 'cause both had "miracle" patches that pretty much stopped stutters, doubled FPS, etc.
It's not really something wrong if they're the same client 'cause OB is getting good performances and looks like it's ready for launch.
