Best Transportation Pool Skill

Well I think that superspeed is the best because it makes you run very fast and lets your get out of combat instantly. Fly is ok but it runs on endurance and it could kill you before you get to your destination. ::::39:: Power jump could be fun in PvP but it is not too fast. Teleportation is fast but it is not as inventive as the other 3. ::::35::

I gotta admit, it's all about playstyle... if you're just trying to get there ASAP, I think it's all about teleportation... 'poof' you're gone... it decimates endurance... but man... it'll get you there...

I, personally, like superjump cuz it's mad cheap and you get a good feeling out of it... it's more like flying than flying in some ways... flight seems kinda robotic and programmed while jumping seems more natural and free...

Super Jump is by far the best I find. Fly is handy but super jump and super speed are a lot faster.

Out of Super Speed and Super Jump, I like super speed so far (for use inside missions).

I have super jump on my scrapper, and I love it. It's just so fun to be bouncing around the city/area. And it's pretty fast, I've beaten out some people with superspeed, but I'll admit that it was an area where SJ made it easier getting around obstacles.

I have characters with fly and SS, I like SJ the most, followed by SS. I haven't tried teleport yet, will probably roll that on one of my test center characters and see how it is, endurance drain and all.

I think Superjump is by far the best.  It's NOT that much slower then Superspeed and it's SO much more versitile.  I've done a lot of experiementing with my friends on this, conducting races and such through different maps.  On flat maps, Superspeed is pretty good, but go into anything with lots of terrain (faultline, Boomtown, Terra Volta, Skyway city, etc) and Superspeed rapidly becomes annoying as you have to try to find a good route through, sometimes there aren't any.  Honestly I wouldn't ever take Superspeed without also taking Combat Jumping to allow for being able to get around at least some obsticles.

Fly is, of course, versitile, but it really is slow and Teleport is fast and pretty fun for a bit, but the endurance it eats up makes it tough, unless you slot it up with endurance reductions.  Even if you do that it's a bit hard to get exactly where you want a lot of times, instead, having to settle with getting 'close'.

Well, I have tried them all, and love Super Speed the most.  BUT, it is limited when you have to travel through areas with vertical challenges.  Super Leap would be my next fav, almost as fast as SS, but more versatile. However, SS is useful during combat, not so much SL.

If you plan to put 5 enhancements more on it, I would just say hoover is plenty.

I love Hoover, see, I use it when I fight, it help my defense a little, and my attacks goes as soon as I click them, no matter if I move or not, in reach and clicked, attack goes, which is not the case of land fighting, you need to be immobilized for a second or so for the attack to goes, annoying when a mob is fleeing. :)

Of course there are other faster ways, but I love saving to buy more combat oriented powers that give you that extra edge, and the fee of 5 enhancement on a total of 49 is not a hefty fee, you can still max 8 others powers and have 4 to mess with, which is plenty!

Yet, it is a question of choices.

They are all good, and if you are looking for raw speed, my solution is not enought, yet, if you just want enought speed to make fun and enjoy it, that is more then you need!  Saving 1 power on 20, considering all what you must spend here and there, certainly does help get that extra edge, not to forget that you get the defense bonus of hoover in the same time as saving a power...

If you already have hover, ignore this.

If you don't have hover/fly (seems if you get fly - you have to get hover), I wouldn't suggest putting 5 enhancements all in a travel power ugh!

I have superspeed and only have the one enhancement that comes with it. So far that's been more than enough. And I don't plan on putting any more there.

I'm not a power-leveler, so enhancement slots are not easy to come by. You only get 2 every other level. I'd think you want to place those in your combat powers where they are needed the most! Just MHO.

I can't really decide. My Defender has Teleport, my Scrapper has Super Speed, my Blaster has Fly, and my Tanker has Super Jump (my Controller has Teleport as well). Teleport certainly gets you from point A to point B fast, but I really don't like how I have to slot it or resign myself to regenerating my endurance on the fly. Super Speed is very nice, except when there's a damn wall in my way. Super Jump is just all around good. Fly is more appealing for it's FUN value than it's practicality...

    Definately Super Speed. Why...

Because you only get 4 powerpools to choose from, your travel power is going to be from one of them. With Super Speed you also have access to Hasten which for most AT's is a must have power anyways. So you take Hasten and SS and you have 3 other pools to choose from.

As far as fun go's or 'best' travel power it would have to be super jump. Good overall power pool, you get Combat Jump which is a very good vertical jump and has a defensive buff, and you get access to acrobatics which is a decent buff as well and CJ is a very fast very very versitile power.
