Is there an option to turn off the bewbs?
I have a 11 year old daughter, and I don't need he wondering why her old man is looking at cartoon boobies on the comp.

Yep, there is a nudity toggle.
Can i suggest that she might be more mature than you think and you can both have a bit of a laugh about it? or is that not the kind of advise you seek.

Tell the sick perverted men who are playing those toons to put a shirt on? Or better yet, stay in the cities as little as possible. I'd imagine that's where most of them would be.
Or as the poster above suggested, pull up the inv. or map every time she comes in

Your probably right, I think I would feel more uncomfortable than her, she would thwwaap me on the forhead for a good chuckle though..
Why not ask about decapitation and arterial blood spraying the monitor screen? You're ok with that then?
People have mentioned multiple times that these can be turned off. (WELLL, not 100% sure about the actual decapitation, but the blood spraying on the screen, yes).

other then the one time I took my armor off on a new toon just to see for myself, I haven't even seen any boobs in the game.
Gore and bloodsplatter on the other hand, constantly.
I saw one girl (probably male) waiting in the zone into Tortage and 1 NPC Cimmerian gal vendor who was probably the pet toy of some basement bound Dev.
I didn't see any locks to keep the mammary glands from being re-toggled for all the folks with kiddies who will play.
How are the going to block the lactational devices of the female gender (yes males can lactate too..I know there are those of you out there trying even now) from others toons. You end up seeing a bunch of player characters with fuzzy pixels across the area of chin to navel?

I have yet to play the game so granted, i don't know how it works, but, I can only imagine walking into a major town, and half the players have the biggest bossoms known to man. Half of them are doing who knows what emotes that are possible, a few over there dancing on boxes 2' from Conans face, and let us not forget the ones on the mailboxes.
Its probably not so much the mechanics of the blood, or the boobs, its more about the people who possess the boobs I'm worried about. I've been playing MMOs way to long not to know what a bunch of people with too much time on their hands, in an MMO can come up with.
This just doesn't make any sense to me. If you are all right with the fact that your kid can look while you play brutal 18+ adventuring game with all this gore and fighting in such a big role, your only concern is boobs and sexually orientated content. <br>Oh well, guess the subject is closed.

If you read the topic of the post, it says PG. Naturally if there are guts and entrails flying about non-stop, that bring in a whole new issue.

Well, to be honest, the point is a bit moot. If a parent doesn't want their child to see something then they don't.
I would rather have a parent be involved and actually care about what their children see. As it stands, cartoons have enough cartoon violence that children probably have become somewhat immune to it. However kids cartoons don't have cartoon nudity in general (human cartoon nudity... bugs doesn't count).
And it is also kid specific. What one child can handle, another might not be able to.
Parenting is tough, especially when the parent would like to maintain aspects of their former "adult" life.
Apparenlty there are toggles so there it is. In fact I will be turning off the blood spattering. Not because it offends me but because it's ridiculous.

I understand the US version is censored as the EU gets the English uncut version.
Does anyone know what is removed from the censored version ?
you kidding me? US censored version? this is not germany... how did that happen or, who said it needed to be implemented?

The US version is completely uncensored and has everything that Funcom intended for the game to have. I believe Germany is the only country with a censored version, and that is for the violence.
American version, Bloody and naked, just the way I like it. As for my kids, my son loves it and the girls ignore it. Other than that asking if its possible to turn it off is fine, complaining that its there is what would be moot, after all its a mature game.
However I agree with some other posters...it is acceptable for you daughter to watch you slaughter ppl on screen but ooooo....can't let her see the boobies she is prolly developing herself. I have a 10 year old daughter n a 6 yr old son who both watch me play games from time to time...personally I doubt the sight of boobs are going to emotionally scar either for life.
