A new cartoon-style MMORPG – Legend of Golden Plume is waiting for you!
Legend of Golden Plume is a cartoon-style real time fantasy MMORPG where you will find a wonderland - all of your friends, NPC, monsters are very cute! You can change your appearance easily; even disguise yourself to a pet, jumping here and there in the street to attract a lot of attentions! Since the game is still in development, we’ve only get a few wallpapers for our readers.
The game will start its closed beta in Q2, 2008. If you are interested, please keep an eye on our MMORPG forum and we will expose more details and deliver the closed beta game accounts for you. For more details, you can join the discussion in official board at http://lgp.enjoymmo.com/forum/.
How to join Alpha Test? I think most of you have participated a lot of Closed Beta test. So what does Alpha Test normally do?
1. Languages.
2. Interface Adjustment
3. Numerical Value Adjustment
4. Skills Adjustment
5. Other potential Bugs
6. Top level cap testing
etc.

The game looks great to be honest, the way it's made makes it quite appealing.
As to the possibility of it being a grindfest, here's a little something as to the vision of the game. They want to bring the "fun" back to mmo's. Back to a time when the community is strong and the GM's can be found as the chief talkers among the players. To a time where you play because you like it, not because it's a "time-killer" or a "hobby" I'm looking forward to it as a place to enjoy and make friends.
On that note, we already have a pretty tight community there, and the all the staff are revealing new stuff almost daily! We're also pushing for them to make a lot of content that isn't just combat-based, and they've been very receptive so far, so why don't you come along and join us all for a grand time?

Just another in a long line of games that look like they were made for 10 year olds. I just don't see why anyone on this site would even bother with it?
I'm not a graphics junky and I'm not usually a snob about cartoony style but I am an adult, straight male. So...I have to draw the line somewhere.

Personally if a game is fun I don't really care how it looks. Graphics are nice until you realise your playing a nice looking game with gameplay that's decades old.
One, would be ok, two, maybe would be ok, but three accounts witht the first post here saying how good the game is?
Funny is, it happend also on their other game, MWO, it was also overrun by 1 post accounts saying how good the game was...
I played the other game, starts ok, but when you actually get into the game, you see how BAD and pathetic the game really is.

I may be proven wrong throughout the course of playing it, but that is my current opinion. And whether or not it turns out correct, we still have a very neat community.
dont judge a book by its cover, play it and then comment. otherwise go play another game and leave this thread alone.
I think this game has potential. Look at a lot of other games that may have a cartoonish look, but do well. For example Team Fortress 2, Kingdom Hearts, etc.
Not to mention having a small companion by your side, where a lot of other games only have it as one class.
Along side with that the animations are really good.
I have a family and I'm still playing these games.
I'm looking forward to trying this game!
Eh, I'll give it a go. I'm a sucker for games with pets in it, plus this may actually be one of those few stand out games can't tell until you try.
I dont like cartoon style mmorpg's, I simply cant play with this style of graphics but... well, is a matter of taste. So It can be a good game.

All these little asian cutefest games have this problem here. Children think more than one account will help them convince people the game is better than it is. After awhile, they realize they're wasting their time and go back to whatever obscure part of the internet they usually hang out at.
Hmmm...I wonder how long it will take for people to start advertising this game everywhere over the forums...like Elf Online or Wonderland.

I think you just need to wait to pass judgement. I think it will be a good game. We don't all like the same type of game and this one is to my liking for sure!
