get a 360 as far as lineup goes its getting

    Fable 2

    Gears of War 2

    Exclusive DLC for GTA4

    Ninja Gaiden 2

Too Human-a mix between single player rpg and group play taken from a mmo

Fallout 3- looks to be most kick ass RPG coming out this year. Also wouldnt be shocked to see ES:5 go 360 first.

    Halo wars

Also w/e PGR they are on now and Forza Mortorsport both great racing game.

R:FoM 2 GT5 and MGS:4 those are pretty good games Id have to say that the line up is much better on the 360 though the Nintendo games on the Wii make it a great system.

Also i dont think the PS3 stuff is anywhere near XBL espcialy when it comes to things like the Live arcade.

Their is also Mass Effect and Halo 3 which I think is kick ass.

Hold on Snow Leopard, imma let you finish, but Windows had one of the best operating systems of all time.

Xbox 360=RPG, FPS, RTS and they are pretty good on consoles.

PS3=Their exclusives are all over the place.

    Sports are the same.

Well here is my 2 cents if its worth anything to you. Red Ring Of Death is still a problem with the xbox-360 . You would think this problem is not widespread but it is. I have had 2 friends at work who have already had to ship theirs back to Microsoft for repair. Now 360 has one hell of a good game line-up,but for the cost of the system and games imo its not worth the chance on taking that you may get a bad machine. PS3 on the other hand I have not heard too many reports os system failures. I have heard that there have been minor issues with some of the games ,but all in all its got a good track record ,plus the Blu-Ray is a nice perk. I personally would choose an xbox-360 later on when the Red-Ring thing has finally been fixed and its dependable. PS3 may or may not come back Sony got greedy and thought they could ask any price and because they were sony it would sell and it back-fired in their face. Nintendo Wii is right now the number 1 console and is actually fun to play but the old style console graphics stink and eventually the fad will wear off.  PC gaming is here to stay,Its not going anywhere and you can do things with games that no console can do. You do not see as many games at the retail stores anymore because most gamers download their games digitally now days. I also have heard from a microsoft representative that there is indeed a blu-ray player coming for xbox 360 so do not let the dvd thing make your decision. Both systems are fine good luck in your decision making.

I own all 3.   The Wii I've played the least, was fun for a bit but got old fast.   PS3, rarely played, just a few good games and I dont use the Blu-ray because my movies are now almost entirely viewed from a media center PC, 360 simply the best games.     Games like Bioshock, Mass Effect, GoW, are reason enough to buy a 360, would be a real disservice to call yourself a gamer and not experience these extremely high quality games.

My 360 has been working fine, no issues at all.  If it did break, without hesitation I would go buy another.   I can't say the same about either the PS3 or the Wii.   In fact I've often considered selling both the PS3 and Wii but not interested in dealing with people wanting to buy them.    I have offered them to friends, but they are not interested either, all of them are quite happy with their 360s.

XBOX live is also an amazing feature of the 360, I can play games overseas with good friends just as though they are in the same room.   XBOX live is well worth $50 a month.  The PS3 online is almost worthless.   In fact I would gladly pay SOE $50 a month to make a real online server.   Their Home seems to be a pipe dream that will be released about the time the PS4 comes out.  Really I find it difficult to believe anyone but fanboys are buying the PS3.      I will certainly be buying MGS for the PS3 though, so if that game alone justifies the system, get it.

If I could only select one system, by far, it would be the 360.   Followed by the Wii for the different game play.   The PS3 definitely last place, no real reason to own one currently.   I did moderately enjoy playing Warhawk and a few Blu-Ray movies.
