Need some help finding a new game.
Hi everyone I found this site through a google search. I use to play Everquest Online Adventures on the PS2. I am looking for something similar to this that is for the computer. I don't really want to get into EQ again but I'd like to find something different but somewhat similar. I would like to it be a free game as well because funds are limited right now. I would also like to find something that won't overkill my lap top. 1.6ghz 256 ram and whatever kind of factory graphics card in this. It is a dell latitude 600. Just looking for suggestions as I see theres a lot of games out there that I have no idea what they are about. If you could help me out I sure would apperiate it. Thanks everyone!!

Hmm, May be hard since you only have 256 ram. If you can afford another 256 ram it will help a lot. I was going to suggest WoW , but thats not F2P and 256 RAM may not be enough for WOW (It can run, but you will lag horribly in the cities. Some of the older games may still work well with that system. For example, something like shadowbane.
Also, understand that F2P is not always truely 'Free'. I wrote an article on how free to play games are not always so 'free'. Read it HERE

With those computer specs, and wanting F2P (free to play) game, i'm not sure you will get any.
Maybe your best bet is the "2D asian games", for example:
Ragnarok, MapleStory, hmm... and the likes
But they are quite diferent from Everquest

I figured I'd be limited with this computer, theres gotta be something to play out there I'm bored outta my mind lol. I'm mainly a console only gamer but atm I don't have one of those either
