Guild Background;

Veneratio was the largest and highest level hardcore elite guild of recent release Hellgate London. For various reasons many people in the guild have decided to change gears and start playing Age of Conan. The guild leader of Veneratio also has a history in other guilds and games including a very successful end game raiding and player versus player guild in World of Warcraft among others.



Veneratio plans on being a large, but closely knit community of hardcore and dedicated gamers interested in creating a name for ourselves as both a formidable guild in player versus player combat as well has holding and maintaining an impressive battle keep fueled by player versus environment gaming.



Veneratio Ranking;

Applicants – An applicant is a player who has applied to Veneratio, but has not been formally admitted to the guild.



Recruit – A recruit is a player who has recently been admitted to Veneratio and is on a probationary period with the guild. A recruit will remain on probationary period for approximately two weeks or less while the officers determine the appropriate rank. Recruits must adhere to all guild rules applying to recruits.



Affiliate – An affiliate is a player in the guild who is not dedicated enough to become a full member, but is at least active and dedicated enough to retain their guild status. Affiliates may be promoted if they improve their status with the guild.



Member – A member is a player who is dedicated enough hold a full member status with the guild. A member is given full membership privileges, but must adhere to all of the guild rules applying to members.



Officer – An officer is a player in the guild who meets all of the requirements of a member, but also is given a specific roll to play in the guild. Officer rolls differ from one officer to the next. Officers help keep the guild running and are examples of ideal guild participants.





Veneratio Rules;



All recruits, affiliates, members and officers must respect all individuals. This applies to both guildmates, and non-guildmates alike.



All recruits, affiliates, members and officers are accountable for their actions at any time, with or without the guild. Any action such as griefing, stealing and other dishonorable actions will not be tolerated.



All recruits, affiliates, members and officers must register on the guild website so that they may be contacted and accounted for.



All members and officers must be able to access Ventrilo for guild specific events, but general use of Ventrilo is encouraged. Exceptions may occur.



All members and officers must contribute to the guild in various ways. Though the ways members and officers contribute may change over the course of the game, members and officers are expected meet the current requests for contribution.



All officers are expected to meet the specific requirements of their officer responsibilities.



Membership Process;

After reading about the guild if you wish to join all you have to do is register on the website. If you would like to stay in contact with the guild outside of the game there are guild forums. You may also register on the forums, whether you intend to join or not. Forum registration is completely separate from the guild website registration.



After registering on the website your application will be viewed by an officer and if accepted your status with the guild will update to "recruit" from "applicant".



During your recruit stage you should follow the guild rules and contribute to the guild in order to be promoted to either affiliate or member. It is suggested that you become a part of the community through the use of ventrilo and the forums during this time. The members and officers would like to get to know you in order to accept you into our community.
