Nice vid, but looking at the magic effects in this game makes me feel like that the melee classes are rather boring compared to casters.
Try to see it without the music. Boring as usual. And too many absurd effects.
That is because you don't play it yourself and you don't hear the sound effects.

and the music is fine I still dont know the title of the song even tho I hear it everytime I watch raw so does anyone perhaps know it?
What disturbed me is that all the guy did was run after people and get some skills go off while he did that. He wasn't in control of anything. Looked boring to me from that standpoint.

watch it without music.... that changes not really anything for me, still looks great.. and tbh, who dosnt listen to music while playing?! I for one starts up itunes and put on some music befor even starting the game
Whats the big deal looks just like WOW combat, just a little slower though.
If you look closely youll see him start glowing and you see his slashing attacks on the enemy I think youd have to be playing a melee class to actually feel like your doing anything compared to magic firework shows of the casters.Its a bit fuzzy so its hard to see the melee only the huge explosive nukes.

I didn't see him run through any enemies. He ran around ALOT ...most of the people around him were from his own side.

I play without music by the way, I like to hear the sound effects from the game.
Collision detection is something they can turn on and off easily and use in different modes. It seems to be in at current builds at game events, so it doesn't seem like they have any plans for dropping CD.
