Server full (after creating and playing character ) LOOL

Not to whine, but I created my character, played till level 3, computer froze, restarted PC, got in the game, now the character selection screen says my server is full..

 

I am gonna die laughing!

 

edit: I think "early access" = paid beta

sorry, but now most of saturday is gone, I work Monday ... seems a little silly this thing didnt go live on a friday afternoon...

 

edit: after waiting 3 minutes for the server to be ready I was told the client is the wrong one (common error from beta) so I have to restart the client... Now I have to wait another 3 minutes..

    They should atleast create some sort of system so that if you crash and burn you will have a 10 minute period where your account will log directly in again and skip a que.

     

    Would suck to be in a riad and crash and then have to wait 1 hour to get in again because of a stinking que.

    Those 3 days which you players paid for early access should definately make AoC a smooth launch for us patient folk...Well, 23rd for me, being in EU and all.

    Deathwhisper is the only full server afaik.

    Sounds like what WoW was going through in it's early days lol.

    Underestimated? They controlled how many people they are allowing in. FWIW 1/2 the servers now have login ques coming up.

    How could they underestimate, they only sold a limited number of early access codes? They know exactly how many they sold and how many would be logging in today.

     

    Once again I thank all of you guys and gals who will are paying for the beta. I will see you in about 3 to 6 months

    That means that there are just too many people online, not necessarily that you cannot create any more characters on that server... You probably will have to wait a little bit to log into that server.

    Reports are saying that you cannot even create a character at all now on servers Deathwhisper or Tyranny. That is a much larger issue now for guilds... Dethwhisper also has over 1 hour wait. FYI.

    Have faith(or whatever)!

    All launches for big hyped games are like this. A favorite thing to do seem to be to compare games to WoW, well at the beginning of WoW you had to wait 3+ HOURS to get into some of the servers. And when the opening day for "that game" occured I waited for 5 hours after the servers was supposed to went live before I decided to go to bed...

     

    Instead of cursing this may be a good sign. A sign that(at least for a while) there will be a huge base of players. Even though that may make it a struggle in the beginning, it will be a huge blessing in the long run!
