Im hearing about people that are 20+ lvl already. I havent played the game at all yet but that concerns me. Will everyone be lvl capped within the first two weeks of release? And if so ... does this new game have the end game content to keep people interested?

The level cap is 80 and 1-20 is just the intro to get you familiar.Im really not sure how the later levels are but it wont be any faster then the rest of the MMOS out.I wouldnt worry about it.

You can get to lvl 80 in about a week if you don't sleep much! I did in CB after I took my time first run just to see how fast I could, and I can guarantee that others will too this first week of release! IMO its about the difficulty of WoW before they turned on easy-mode last fall!

Funcom's estimate on 1 maxed leveled character is about the same as for World of Wassholes.
Really not a big surprise. A good number of us have been in the OB and know the quest 1-13 backwards and forwards. You can do 1-13 in about and hour and a half if you know what you are doing. But honestly as already stated 1-20 is just a intro. Once you get into the mid twenties you are going to see that most people's leveling is going to go way down.
Personally I am still trying to figure out what class I want to make my main. I love all the classes and for the most part they are pretty balanced. Been in both the PvP Beta and the FP OB and even after that I still see things that I like about all the classes. With that being said I have leveled all 8 of my character slots with characters most of who are near their teens now.

yeah, thngs slow WAY down as you get further into the game. It will get to the point where you will spend a coupld days getting a level.
But it won't feel like a grind, that's the best part.
I remember back in 1999, folks kept asking me if I was stockpiling food. I always answered, "No, I'm stockpiling ammo and making a list of people who are stockpiling food"
The design = Level 1-60 at a fairly nice speed. Even 59-60 should only take a few hours. From 60-80 is where it gets much slower.
1-20 Is like a long tutorial/intro. 20-40 is like the start of the game. 40-60 is where you get mounts and crafting, and they 60-80 is where it gets much slower.
Yeah agree totally, I enjoy it so much I dont even notice or care about leveling up !
2 - 3 weeks few hrs a day.
Was a point in beta where it w
as 3 days wih the right prof.
in open beta, i made it to lvl 13 in about 3 hours with a barbarian
ranger would be faster
Roll on a PvP server, non-stop content lol. And slower leveling.
i have 0 sympathy for those who reach max level in less than a month and i have 0 sympathy for those who get to max lvl in less than a month AND complain about the lack of endgame. devs should not need to cater for those who try to lvl like they are possessed and (as they do) cater for the "standard" players who take 1-3 months to get there.
