I still havent heard anything about lowb dungeons or instances before 80

Will there be any group dungeons/instances in the lowb levels or levels before 80 like how WoW had alot of group instances to explore for instance SM/WC/RFK etc. Will there be anything like that in AOC?

I've been asking for 4 days on the very same issues your asking and no replies at all, AoC seems to only have quest at this time.

I'm going out of town for 3 weeks I'll ask again when I come back.  I have a top end computer and word has it that AoC runs with out problems with quest, eye candy and PvP ganking, but with nothing else to do.  I can't see playing this game for long.

But I can't even try for 3 weeks.

That sucks BIG time if true

Hay Nomatica, if we both were to try to keep this poat alive, it would just sink in the bottom and then the next page in less than 10 min. As no one has answers, sometimes you get a guess or maybe a quote from the devs web site but thats about it.

I think questions like this are taboo. As for now it's just a power struggle at to who can play and get the best graphics and still run good.

Hey guys, i am also interested in this. If there was absolutely any evidence there was dungeon and raid content below 80 we would have had it by now. Mustn't be any then!

I've answered this in other threads already. there are plenty of dungeons and instances, both group and solo.

Even some of the mostly solo dungeons and instances have areas that are designed for groups.

I remember back in 1999, folks kept asking me if I was stockpiling food. I always answered, "No, I'm stockpiling ammo and making a list of people who are stockpiling food"

There are only raid/dungeon instances at the end of the game lvl 80!  The rest is all just a mindless quest grind as fast as u can to the cap.  Developers really gotta stop with this end-game BS and focus on the adventure...screw the end...the lvl cap in most games including this one is lame!

I wanna have fun during the entire adventure!  IMO the best part was Tortage, after which you mindlessly do quest after quest until lvl 80, then all you do is end-game raid for months on end for sets of gear ala WoW!!

so Which is wharmaster or katashi, if katashi is right then this changes my mind about the game, best thing about lowb dungeons and grouping was getting to know people and have fun with others. It was another option to those that didnt want to solo grind.

Yes theres a few like 4 if I remember correctly. You just have to get passed level 20, also theres another like 2 that is supposed to be group content for 1-60. Some tomb and some crypt

Yes there are a few like Wharg said but I chose not to mention those cause its like WoW...small and pointless cause u lvl so fast the stuff u get there becomes obsolete in no time so they're best just skipped after u experience them at least once just cause!

ok so first u say that its a race to 80 just lvl as fast as u can and now u say to skip lowbie dungeons cause they dont give enough stuff u can use for a while?? u dont want to race to 80 but u want to skip the "WoW" dungeons? lol

saying its all like WoW is just.. weird.. WoW set the standard.. next to that AoC is not even close to being like WoW

    MMOs currently playing: -
About to play: Lord of the Rings Online
Played: Anarchy Online (alltime favorite) and lots of f2p titles (honorable mentions: 9Dragons, Martial Heroes, Dekaron, Atlantica Online)

Yes, there are many dungeons in the game, but as far as I know, they are not instanced.

You're full of crap. I've been in over 4 dungeons and i'm only level 25 xD They're instanced, and party oriented.

you level fast from 1-20. after that it starts to slow down. Before you're anywhere NEAR the lkevel cap, it ends up taking a couple days of play to get a level. But that time doesn't feel like a grind....you'll be caught up in some storyline (there are MANY in the game) and having a good time.

Some of the earlier dungeons, such as Underhalls, and Acheronian ruins, have group-only sections, and can NOT be soloed, even if you are several levels over the quest requirements.

There are multiple group dungeons on the way through the levels...rest assured, you will find them. And they are fun.

Of course, there are more reasons to do them than just getting drops....as some people might have insinuated.

Relax....the fn is there to be had...go discover it

From what I have heard as well as read the game really picks up at lvl 40 with combos, world pvp, instances and as well as mounts/mounted combat....just be patient!

As zidane said they are instanced and you can enter as early as lvl 13.  Not only that but as WoW has you can do them on normal or Epic settings even at those lvls. Case closed.

    { Mod Edit }

All rhetoric or old information or even misinformation..

By level 10 you can enter White Sands for example which has an "epic" component for a large group...

Also, open leveling zones which requires teamwork like the Acheronian Ruins

Go back to your old school Final Fantasy and enjoy your Asian like grind...for me, I wish to lop off heads, spear my opponents and hammer smash their skulls into pulp...so much fun!

I'm assuming you've played to level 80? I'm guessing you've been in every instance in the game? I'm guessing you've done the endgame?

With 80 levels, i'd think somewhere around 30-40 the dungeons start really opening up.

Having the storyline as being optional but reliable solo quests with instances is also a nice idea.

Lets keep the variety going, so far so good.

    To the OP,

I don't have the latest but here is what I got so far:

1-35: no specific group-instances, but can select Epic-quality for normal intances if you want a challenge with a group.

35-42: the first real group-instance +many normal instances like before.

    42-70:  normal instances.

70-80:  10x group-instances and normal instances like before. Also first raid available from 70 and next at 80.

They have really focused on end-game instances. Probably a good idea if you ask me. I personally like the shared instances they have in place for levelling purposes.
