I would like to know the opinions of other people. What game will you play? Age of Conan or Warhammer Online? Please no comparing to WoW! My vote goes to WAR.

Why not both?
MMO Vet since AOL Neverwinter Nights circa 1992. My MMO beat up your MMO. =S
In MY opinion, Warhammer will be the better game. But you can't listen to anyone but yourself. AoC's coming out first so you should try it at least. Wait till WAR comes out, and at that time if you still feel like giving it a go, you're more than welcome to. Then you can compare the two at the end of the year and see which you like more, or even better, play both. If we're lucky both will be good. They cater to different types of gamers; one is more brutal with higher system requirements and a barbarian FFA attitude, while the other is a bit more comp. friendly with a team mindset. So, I'd try both of them first before listening to anyone here.
-------------------------------------- A human and an Elf get captured by Skaven. The rat-men are getting ready to shoot the first hostage with Dwarf-made guns when he yells, "Earthquake!" The naturally nervous Skaven run and hide from the imaginary threat. He escapes. The Skaven regroup and bring out the Elf. Being very smart, the Elf has figured out what to do. When the Skaven get ready to shoot, the Elf, in order to scare them, yells, "Fire!"

Why not both?
Exactly, why not both? They're going to be released at least 6 months apart, more than enough time to play AoC first and then WAR. Unless AoC is so awesome that I have no interest to try WAR, I probably play both.

I think both will do fine. Aot of people are going to try AOC because it comes out before the others. I think war will have a bigger fan base though. War looks like its going to change the way pvp is done in MMO's in the future. War looks like they are going for the simplistic way to have fun (similar to wow) but war will be much more pvp and team centered which might be refreshing for a change. Plus implementations such as the chicken rule in war will stop lvl 40s from mercilessly ganking lowbies. Little details like that while keeping the game simple are really going to help war.
I will probably play AoC untill WAR is gold.. and depends how the games goes and such, I minght keep playing it as well as WAR.. but I am defently playing WAR.. being a big fan of the TT game and all..
Conan looks like it could be a solid title, however the whole pre-order thing isn't looking too appetizing as my jedi senses detect a nasty launch. However in a few months (and hopefully a price cut) I'll skip along and pick it up. I love the idea of city building, and long for a more sandbox type player driven experience. Combat looks nifty, though I can see there are already some really annoying mechanics. Will keep an ear out.
WAR is my baby, and I will despite all rumors be in the launch group, even if it means whoring my body to Paul and Jeff...at the same time. I love the PvP as a viable leveling method and I am really down with the whole server clashing over one bloody node.
Both will more than likely be bought as I'm bored to death of WoW welfare system and "Ef the vets pander to the casuals for more subscription numbers" approach.
AoC for now, War I'm not sure of. I've looked at some of the screen shots and videos but the game looks too much like WoW for me. However, I'll reserve my judgment for when I actually try the game.
Well having only beta tested AoC and not War. WP ( our guild ) will be going into AoC for obvious reasons. Lack of a better game. We will hang there untill WaR comes out and see how they do in there OB. But for now obviously most are in AoC.
Hmm yes, WAR doesnt come out for a while. Might as well try AoC even though I dont wanna put down $50 bucks to play it, then 15 more for a month of play. My hopes are that by the time WAR comes out I will have a new computer because my current one would probably not be able to handle AoC and barely WAR.
I will try AOC. War is to much like wow and i dont care to much for wow.
Well I quit WoW and I dont care very much for it either. I found WAR and got interested because it took most of the things WoW had and improved on some social elements as well as a vastly greater pvp element. Not to mention graphics that actually look more real rather than cartoony.
Granted WAR is still heavily in beta and has time to improve, all I can say is it's a big pass for me. It's an evolution of the genre in no real way...
Age of Conan isn't nearly perfect, but it takes some bold steps and actually FEELS like an action adventure RPG. So personally, that's my vote.
Why do I write, create, fantasize, dream and daydream about other worlds? Because I hate what humanity does with this one.
I am curious how many will leave AoC to WAR when the latter comes. I guess it will be many, with the meticiously designed PVP of WAR - unlike the FFA chaos of AoC. I am sure many AoC players just use it as a way to pass time until WAR comes.

Both really should of been an option to be fair because some people enjoy multiple playstyles. Personally though I'll be playing WAR...i'm not into the playstyles that AoC supports. Good luck to the AoC guys i hear the reviews are really good with the Head Start compared to OB.
Please Refer to Doom Cat with all conspiracies & evil corporation complaints. He'll give you the simple explination of..WE"RE ALL DOOMED!
Can't help but think AoC maybe the victor of the two, it being pretty different from other mmos may give it an advantage.
no offense but fancy graphics have been done and some arrow buttons to press so that the console players can keep up in combat don't make it that different from other MMOs. It has all the essentials that Shadowbane, SWG, and WoW have.
Still its the way its arranged those elements and put them together that offers that 'new' / different feel for those that haven't had a game to play in a long time or are relatively new.
btw i really wish people would stop bashing and proclaiming crap thats not true about whatever game they like or dislike.

If you want more of a hardcore version of WoW with some PvP thrown in, AoC for you.
If you want a high quality PvP/RvR experience by veteran developers of one of the most successful MMOs of all time (Dark Age of Camelot) then War is your man.
I will try WAR out when it comes out but I am 80% sure I wont like it, it brings nothing new. just the same old same.
The warhammer ip could be interesting, I was never a massive fan, but I still think they are doing a tird job of it. dark elves without assassins or repeater xbows, no gore, kiddy etc.

if there is a gore option for Warhammer then ill play them both so far is AoC for me
a Warhammer world with no blood.... just sad, but i am a warhammer fan so i might just get it and play for a month or more, never say never

WWIIOnline The Real War!
I am waiting for Aion. I think AoC and WAR are getting way too much hype. I bet they both turn out to be mediocre games.
Warhammer is not for yet, so if you are searching for a new mmo why don't you try AoC first ?
Give it a shot, i mean we need a good new mmo on the market and whoever it will be.

Warahammer Online for me at least. I love the PvP aspect and that's WAR's main feature so it's what I'm looking for.

BOYCOTTING EA / ORIGIN going forward.
You can play AoC tomorrow.
You can't play WAR until...
The answer seems obvious.
