Does anyone else find the combat system to be annoying? It feels like I'm just button mashing when i play this game. The gfx look great but the combat is really starting to get tidious

Its a simon says kinda thing
Wait another month
1. People getting sick form button mashing
2. Combo helper macros will start to emerge
3. FC , simplifying combat system
From what ive read the more you play the more you realise its much more than just button smashing.
Combat becomes trully an "art" has you can feel the diference in fighting "clumsy Style" to the dancing warrior that blazes trough body parts like nureyev in a tchaikovsky play.
This is what will happen to every AoC player sooner or later, unless they're really really dilusional. How long it takes is based on the player, but it's about reflexes and timing. That's all well and good, but sooner or later it'll feel cumbersome and annoying. It's just so wildly popular now because it's something different.

A human and an Elf get captured by Skaven. The rat-men are getting ready to shoot the first hostage with Dwarf-made guns when he yells, "Earthquake!" The naturally nervous Skaven run and hide from the imaginary threat. He escapes. The Skaven regroup and bring out the Elf. Being very smart, the Elf has figured out what to do. When the Skaven get ready to shoot, the Elf, in order to scare them, yells, "Fire!"

I find it fuuny when people accuse action games of being 'button mashing.'
How else do you plan to play a game besides pressign a lot of buttons?
There is strategy involved. Learn it!
Anyone else find it funny that the same people bashing the game now, are the same ones that hated on the game before they even played it?
Looking for faults eh? Performance/bug complaints not holding up so much anymore? Those boring class debates got beat down? Now onto the combat and instancing? Grasping at straws eh?
I wonder if they would be looked down upon, yet be standard issue for anyone who PvPs

Or he has a valid concern. And if you wanna look at it like there's still trolls around, I've seen some "trolls" that have clearly said they're impressed and they wanna play. Soooo...it's a good launch, and it seems like a good game right now (have yet to see about sieges, end-game, all that stuff). Yay.

check the OP's history, he even stated earlier he canceled his pre-order, he's either erally fickle, a liar, or a troll. Your choice.
So far I'm enjoying it but it most certainly is a concern for me. I could see it either turning into a macro fest or getting boring and repetitive or becoming easily exploitable like AC/UO were. I'm really interested in seeing how it works in higher end PvP/Raids because it could make or break the game for me since there are a lot of little things about the game that I do not like.
