Will I be able to run it?

Hey folks,

So I've done some reading on it and the game looks great.   Not since UO has a game struck me as my kind of game just from reading about it (the original version of UO, not the current disaster).

I've read the minimum specs but thought I'd check here too since well...I know Vanguard had "minimum specs" but it wasn't possible to actually play the game with anything approaching on the min specs for quite some time.

My biggest concern are my processor, which is right at the minimum (P4 3.0 ghz).  and my video card (GeForce 7800 GS, 256MB).  I think my RAM should be okay at 1.5 gigs, not sure if anything else is vital.

Think that would be okay?  I'm not opposed to turning graphic settings down and the like...gameplay matters alot more to me than graphics.  Normally I just do the free trials to find out but since its just coming out its not surprising they don't have one yet.  I can swing the $50 for the game, but am not really in a position to sink hundreds of dollars upgrading my PC right now, so if I can't run it I'd rather not waste the money.

Thanks!

Your system will splutter and die, and don't believe the hype - with everything turned down to lowest and all GFX options turned off, this game looks like crap.

8800 minimum and forget it if you got less than 3-4 GB RAM.

I ran the system requirements website, but it looks like that just pulls from the minimum or recommended specs the developer listed, so it doesn't really answer the question.

Sounds like you pretty much need a brand new top of the line PC for the game to even be playable, seeing as how some of what you folks mentioned isn't even coming standard on new computers.

That's a shame.  You'd think companies would have learned after Vanguard that making games that only a tiny segment of the population can actually run is not good for business.
