Pre-Order key account creation invalid?

in Age of Conan: Unchained

Hi guys,

 

Today I finnaly decided on what pay-ment plan I would use for Age Of Conan, when I went to enter my pre-order key at register.ageofconan.com it came up that my key was invalid for account creation.

 

I had previously used the key to bring up the account creation form but had never submitted it, and now it just brings up invalid key..

 

I have contacted support but I know they would have alot on their plate atm so was wondering if anyone here could help me out.

    Funnily enough I've just received my preorder key as well - email as follows but have the same problem.

     

    I am assuming that you have to register with the key from the actual gamebox now , seeing as the pre-order early access bit has been and gone. Then once you have entered the retail box key and created your account theres an option there in your account page to enter the mount bonus key. Hope so anyway:

    Dear Customer,

    Your pre-order bonus code is below. This alpha-numerical code will allow you to participate in the 3 day early access (subject to additional fee and client download) and also download the exclusive in-game Rhino. 

    Your serial code is as follows: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    HOW TO USE YOUR SERIAL CODE: 

    1. Go to: register.ageofconan.com

    2. If you already have a Funcom gaming account please enter your usual log in details. Otherwise create a new account by clicking the link & complete the required fields. 

    3: Follow the online instructions to claim your in game bonus. 


    Note that pre-order item is not available on Early Access accounts. Once an Early Access account is upgraded with the retail key from your boxed copy, the virtual item can be claimed. 

    Please note that there is no obligation to participate in the Early Access program. You can still claim your pre-order in game bonus.
