7 day trial?

in Anarchy Online
hey, i'm just downloading anarchy online right now because it looks good and there are positive comments about it. I haven't signed up yet but I think i read something about a 7 day trial but you have to actually give them credit card details ( so this isnt really a 7-day-trial is it? image).
 I was wondering if there is anyway around this or I can sign up without any details... please reply as download will be done soon image

    their is no other way to sign up.

    when you sign up with your creditcard.
    cancel the account right away so that after 7 days it doesn't auto updates to the monthly payment and the 29$ charge.

    btw i noticed there are two different 7-day-trials: shadow land and classic anarchy online.
    Which game is it that everybody says is so good? Im looking for a new mmorpg to play

    Shadow Lands is the most recent expansion. It roughly doubled the size of the gameworld.

    IMHO you should download SL because I think you will bet the base game + the most recent expansion. It will take up much more memory though. Between 1 Gig and 2 Gigs.

    Does shadow lands cost more money per month? or is it a one time price and then you carry on paying the same price as you did with normal classic anarchy online?

    its the same monthly price as the old version
    but costs more when you buy the game though

    20 dollars more than the orignal version
    but i say it would be worth it though because you will miss out alot of the game play on Shadowlands. And most of the leveling happens on Shadowlands any ways because you level faster there then on Rubi-Ka.

    Actually, there is a way for you to play with no credit card details, but the problem is you need to know a person who currently plays the game, as Funcom gave free gaming passes to current players so that they could give them away to friends to play for free with no details needed. I can't remember whether it's a 14 day free trial or a 30 day free trial, but I think it's longer than the normal trial.

    I never had to pay for SL. Started the free trial in the middle of June and then paid $9.95 until Sept 1st when the regular subscription rate takes effect. Of course that is when Alien Invasion is going to be released. Hope you can download it instead of having to purchase the CD.

    I wouldnt be worried about the game its really fun, or atleast I thought so theres a big community a lot of helpful people....I played this game to lvl 150 but it got boring because of my character class, this games very fun image

    so make sure you choose the right class otherwise you are wasting money.

    A free game pass huh? anybody got one of these that I can use otherwise there is no point in me downloading shadowlands and wont be able to play image

    Why would it be a waste of money? You get 8 character slots...make different types of characters so you have different playing experiences. When I get a little bored playing my dual pistol adventurer I switch to my Stygian wielding Keeper and so on.

    I clicked the link but its just a discussion of AO and i cant seem to find a free key anywhere :(
