So far, there's TONS of easter eggs in WoW (more easter eggs than any game I've seen to date) and Blizzard continues to add even more after every patch.

I know Blizzard is known for sticking easter eggs in their games but WoW so far has the most humor of any Blizzard game to date. image

Actually, I thought easter eggs were things embeded within another program.  An example would be the Cow level in Diablo.

While I find this terribly amusing and spend many hours searching for them, is easter egg the correct term?  Innuendo, maybe?  Tongue in cheek, humor?

My dog barks some. Mentally you picture my dog, but I have not told you the type of dog which I have. Perhaps you even picture Toto, from "The Wizard of Oz." But I warn you, my dog is always with me.

Wow I didn't know how many there were...excellent. My favorite was the book in the auction house on "How to serve man"...old time Twilight zone...way cool.

well, i gave it some thought, and so i ask, what do you do with these eggs in RL? they are hidden and you have to find them. So an Easter Egg would be anything hidden the programmers want you to find. Unimportant if that's a whole level or only some hidden Joke. (e.g. the easter eggs 10 years ago where only some textboxes you could reach with a special hotkey)

But i agree with you, some of the things that where posted sounded only like an Innuendo, but then again, when somebody was searching for it and finally found it, doesn't that make it an easter egg?

I ran into an NPC wandering in one of the major cities last night, when I talked to him, he gave me a bit of information, then ended with...

:sigh: I should have taken the BLUE pill.

    Was cool :)
