Reserving names with CC disk?

People with the CC disk cant reserves the names theyve made for there characters can they? It wouldnt make sense. They would have to get them onto the server first before it could be taken right? I thought i heard somewhere that people who hav already made their characters with the CC disk with have there names reserved or something.

Basically what i wanna know is that someone who has already got the CC disk will have just the same amount of chance to use their name as someone who gets the CC diskc one day before the game goes retail and makes there character. So its just a race for who gets onto the server first right? for who gets the name.

    There is no possible way to reserve your name prior to launch, not even for beta testers.

    I wouldn't be surprised in the least if they ended up having a name reservation program for like $10 or something. As long as it wasn't too much of a pain in the ass to do it, I imagine they'd make a tidy bit of money from it.

    the little piece of paper that came with mine said something along the lines of "please keep in mind that your name will not be reserved and names will be dealt with on a first come first serve basis." this seems slightly common sense.

    there isnt an option to reserve them on mine, just gotta get on there super fast when it comes out ;)

    None can reserver their name, the CC disk was only to create your charater so that you could upload it to the game.  Thus, meaning you get ingame sooner and a better chance of getting the name you actually wanted.

    The CC disc is just a teaser for the most part.  Allows you to create the character you want, get it all fine tuned the way you want it to look, and then upload the look once it's live, but doesn't allow you to reserve a name, doesn't even give the option to name the character unless you count the filename...

    I believe Moorgard mentioned names can and will not be reserved either thru Beta or CC disk.
