If you purchased a dell it was probably the worst $1000 you ever spent.
At first when i read the title I thought you were talking about a hooker...
Anyways I like graphics as much as the next guy but I am still waiting for the post release fix patches to come out before I think about getting AoC let alone upgrading to see its graphics. As long as your happy it is a good purchase.
Whats the other things on your PC ?
Its a dell xps 420, 3 gigs of ddr2 ram, windows vista, 8800GT, flat screen monitor, Q6600 all for 1000 bucks.
Getting a Dell myself in a month or two through an arrangement from work.
E8500 (3,16 Ghz) 4 GB ram 8800 GT 512 Mb ram 3 years insurance 3 years virusprotection Vista
Paying all in all 900$ over 3 years.
Will be nice to see how it performs compared to my older rig.

Not a terrible price for your specs, although it would cost you a little more than 1000 if you bought it today, and of course you can make it yourself cheaper.
But for a dell off the shelf - you didn't do badly at that price at all.

Yeah, I'm considering throwing some money after new hardware bacause of the game. After playing the beta and being very sceptcap, I must admit that I'm really impressed with the game. It's great fun and the world-design and graphics are absolutely beuatiful. Great stuff
