Um... What?!

Account is frozen... Yet they billed my bank account 4 days ago when I signed up for EA and didnt get in.

So basically I gave them a $15 donation and now have a frozen account... FC... You are getting soooooo annoying.

Yes I put in my activation key (the one on the manual), yes I redid my subscription info, only to get "Something Failed"...

FC failed, thats what failed.

    This is actually correct behaviour of the billing system. As soon as the servers have been opened for launch, these customers will have to enter a valid retail-key in order to unfreeze their accounts and get access to the game servers and the forums.
    We will open read access to the forums for everybody soon. But it will always be that only customers with valid game accounts will be allowed to write posts and engage in discussions with the community.

    I have registered my activation key.  My account, when I go to the 'upgrade subscription' tab says, "No upgrades available, this subscription is already upgraded to the maximum".  Status is still 'Cancelled' and Frozen.

    They can't charge you till your free 30 days are over.....   (and pssst... your not in early access)

    Is it still Early Access?

    Everything they say makes it seem as though the servers are up for everyone.  Is this false?  Is it still just the early access people playing?

    its frozen till after EA finishes basicly...which is today in US and 23rd in EU.. no problems, just a weird way that Funcom have gone about setting things up...many posts on this already...

    its still Early Access for me

    I'm still actively playing with no retail key  (until BestBuy sends me the box)

     

    People with retail keys can play too!

    The only information I have on it are what the launcher says, that the US servers are up.  And MrBloodworths post, which to anyone that can read English, would seem to say as long as you activate your key, you can play.

    Maybe if the official forums werent under defcon-5 lockdown, clueless folk like myself could get actual information.  Then again it would most likely be misleading such as the 'launch' last night where everyone sat around hour to hour only to have it be Early Access getting back in... again...

    So it is still just early access people you are saying?  A nice yes or no would suffice.  Sorry for being short about it, but I'm pressed for time and telling me to read what things say is what got me in this place the first time.

    I agree that Funcom should make those forums - readable -- NOW

    If we are supposed to wait for "retail server" to launch, well WHEN the hell is that??!?!?!?!

    Frankly the game may have had a smooth launch but Funcom, the company and brand, sure the hell HASN"T.

    US Servers are up for both EA and Retail boxes
