So i wake up this morning and i manage to play age of conan having it already set up and entered my retail key and all that junk
so i take a nap and i come back and i cant log in.. i go to my account page and it says its frozen and i need to enter a retail key.. i already entered the retail key and i tried re entering it and obviously nothing.
I can't use the forums because i don't have access to them not having a " retail account "

I used a preorder key but didnt get into early access. I was playing the game this morning and at 1:13pm est the game cut off. I check my account and it says open but frozen. So i'm like WTF I used my bank card and it was working fine up till that point. We get 30 days free and they are not supposed to charge you till after that. I didnt have 15 bucks in my account but that shouldnt have mattered. Anyway I decided to use my fathers bank card which has plenty of cash on it. It keeps getting DENIED!!!!! Does anyone know if there is a phone number I can call????? Ive emailed them 3 times today with no response. I'm so pissed of with funcom right now. THey owe me a day of play time! Sorry if this doesnt answer your question but it seems like you may have the same problem.
Finally some people with the same problem I have. Entered my retail key over 7 hours ago and still frozen.

I am having something similiar but I am getting the message invalid key.
actually I am getting the message no offer found for given key.
when i try to enter my retail key to upgrade or to make a entirely new account, it does not work either. 3 credit cards denied.....cant use my retail key to upgrade.....cant make new account....cant access official forums.....no customer support hone number......no answer to emails after 10 hours=WTF IS WRONG WITH FUNCOM!
Well good to hear I'm not the only one having issues with this... guess it isnt *entirely* Amazon's fault though I'm still pretty ticked that my pre-order didnt ship today. Maybe its Funcom's issue with they key.

sign into your account then on the main page scroll down to
Use a Key to add Prepaid Card, Upgrade a Subscribtion, or Creat Subscription.

That link will take you to a Validate Key screen were you enter the code found on the back of your manual.
Now if you still can't get onto the forums then reset your password by going into Creat or Update my Forum login, then after about 30 mins you should be able to get on fine.

Sorry, that doesnt work for me either. It acknowledges I have a pre order key from Amazon but thats all. It looks like that page is broken. at the bottom of that screen it says "You can" and nothing after and from the site it sounds like it is supposed to give you options to upgrade or create a new AoC subscription etc at that point.
Yeah I leave work in about a half hour, if I go home and get some more validation bull after re-entering my key, again... Well, I think I that will be the end of my AoC play (even though i've yet to ACTUALLY play, ha)...
FC has been totally inept during this whole process, and customer service, to me, makes up a large part of gaming experience.
Think about it, with WoW, they let you know every single thing that happened, when it will be fixed, and what to expect... What does FC do... well they lock you out of thier forums and keep you blind to anything related to the product you have paid for. Quite the scheme.

Most common issues with registration and login
Access to the Age of Conan Forums
If you can't access the forums and have a Age of Conan player account you need to register your forum account here:
https://register.ageofconan.com/. Only people with an active Age of Conan account, and a forum account, can log into and read and write to the forums.
As the game has already launched in the US, only registered Early Access keys and game keys that have been delivered with the boxed version of the game will allow you to access the forums. Pre-order keys will not work for this anymore.
How to upgrade a game account from pre-order/early access to final retail version
If you have registered a pre order key (like the Rhino, or Mammoth) this only makes you able to create the account. It does not give you access to the game. You need to enter the game key that comes with your boxed version of Age of Conan as follows:

Who the hell do they think we are. Ive checked my account twenty freaking times over was able to play earlier and now suddenly im not able to since I canceled and retried to subscribe and never was able to get onto the forums.
I have tried everything i have entered my key many times for retail which i have already done before and managed to make a 14 ranger this morning with the retail key then i discover im frozen and i need to enter my retail key..... cant reopen it because i get no offer is found for this key cause its already tied to the account... i can't find any info to help me and no phone number to contact i just have to wait

Am I reading this correctly? I pre-ordered the game and got an account key. But that key, unless I rushed and signed up for the early access to get into the game (which I did not), is useless? I really dont understand that at all if that is the case. Am I reading it wrong? All other MMOs I have gotten early with a key let me log in and download and gave me usually 10 days to enter the second key from the CD when it arrived at my door. Did they not do this for AoC?
god knows when they will reply = / dont they have a customer support phone number??
and to answer your quest ion yes, you have to have either Early Access or the actual Retail key.

Any key you entered prior to opening your box is NOT the key that will get your game going.. Sounds to me like they are having some serious issues and people need to email the hell out of them before i get my box so I won't have the problems :P
One quick question though, does anyones buddy pass stuff work? if so how?
