Sorry to bother anyone, but none of my friends care for games much, so they didn't have any opinions on the trailers for Ryzom. Yes, yes, I'm obsessed with Ryzom, but I absolutely love the trailers they made for the game (and I just found them, I must have been completely blind!). Yep, I've seen em before. I especially liked the parts where they show the huge fights with like tons of people and monsters going at it.

Yeah, but as the other thread in this forum mentions, SOE seems to be the cause of the decline.
Anyway, I personally like the 8th trailer. I think it's just the music that is getting me on that one

Well i played it for a bit and was not impressed.
However,some people speak very nicely of it and the videos clearly shows i have not seen most of what the game has to offer.
I am tempted to buy it provided they release it very early next month.If it goes into october i will not buy it because it is very close to when WoW comes out(hopefully).
I like the graphical style and quality of the world, and if it uses music like it has in the trailers that would be very nice. But, I'm not so keen on mixing sci-fi and fantasy together - that's not really my cup of tea. The way the mobs move in herds is really nice, but not that impressed with how most of them look. Reminds me too much of Starship Troopers.
All in all, it looks like it could be a really good game, just not quite the thing I'm looking for.
Yeah, like I said, the music is just awesome. I dont think it would have that kind of music playing all the time, but when the @%$$ hits the fan, it would be awesome if that music kicked in.

Thats what im talking about! That last Trailer was awesome! It looks likes a really fun game. Although i have not read any of the actual stats abou the game, which i will do here in just a second, I wonder what kind of gameplay features are really available.?
The graphics looks great and grouping looks fun too. The last trailer made me think of a fantasy version of StarShip Troopers lol lol lol.
