What am I doing while I wait? Becoming aggravated mostly... I was a hopeless FFXI addict for about 7 months or so before it's shortfalls became too annoying for it to be fun anymore. Since then I've tried all kinds of MMO's but none of them have really appealed to me like FFXI did. Since I quit I've been playing countless other games. I just beat Doom 3 today, that game is really cool, extremely graphics intensive, but cool. Since that's done I guess I'll go back to playing Tales of Symphonia for GC. Another extremely cool game, especially if you have 3 other friends that want to play it with you. I only play it single player, but I've tried the multiplayer and it's really well done. Other than that I play DOTA just to get a little bit of WoW'esque fun. Reading the WoW beta forums sometimes too to see what the blizz reps are saying, and posting on the fansites sometimes too. I'm hoping that I'll be able to get a beta account in something like guild wars, middle earth online, or matrix online in the near future. That would definitely help in giving me my mmo fix.
I'm preparing to get even more depressed if the game pushes past christmas in development. Don't be too shocked if EQ2 makes it out first boys and girls...

I'm a WoW fan formost and up front and I am interested in the development of EQ2 as well. And if EQ2 gets pumped out in three months like they are planning to do, it won't be ready. I hope they don't pull what they did on SWG and force others to pay for beta. (The game has great potential, hope they don't waste it) No flames please, just a comment.
As for WoW, it will be ready by Christmas I'm sure, I want to pre-order soon. And if it's not ready for Christmas, I'll still wait...waited 4 years whats an extra month or so,

I'm playing Asheron's Call 2 at the moment, with a little of WWIIOnline on the side. I was playing Star Wars Galaxies, but decided to call it quits. I'm going to be giving The Saga of Ryzom a shot though. Still got some time until WoW comes out though, so I'm not itching to play it. I am a big Warcraft fan though, so I am looking forward to it's release. I'm also an Everquest fan though, so I'm not to worried about having a MMORPG to play anytime soon with EQII also coming out soon. Other games I'm keeping an eye on are Dark and Light, Dragon Empires, Guild Wars, Middle Earth Online, and Vangaurd: Saga of Heros.

used to be eq player for 5 years, then horizons and now lineage. so far im 50/50 between eq2 and wow mainly due to good things i read about both games. neither is perfect but they are getting closer.
Let me tell you I have been DESPERATELY searching for something to keep me occupied. Partially because it was summer and I had nothing better to do. I started playing DAOC AGAIN which is actually fun. I still play Lineage 2 a little bit but thats a game I do not recommend. Its horrible and the only real fun takes a LONG TERM committment. I mean long term. An endless grind that ends only when you cancell your account. Anyways I'm also playing Counterstrike... Warcraft 3... and I downloaded this new halflife mod I really like called Battlegrounds. Its so fun/funny. Its a revolutionary war mod. You choose american or british and you can choose 3 different classes to be on each side. You only have 1 shot then you have to reload lmfao. So people shoot once and bayonett/sword/knife charge. Its halarious.
Well I must agree with the previous post, I have played many mmorpgs and my tastes are quite hard to satisfy. DAOC nor L2 is a game I would stick to I'm just using them till WoW and EQ2 come out. I am hoping that they will be great games like they are hyped to be!
Just finished playing endless ages, i liked it alot and would reccomend it. Bored or all my age old games i usually play; halo, warcraft 3. dawn of war was a bloody good rts although my g-card sucks so the game does too

I am not touching another MMORPG until WoW and EQ2 come out.
I am playing the very good and creepy as HECK doom3, rome:total war demo, Deus Ex 2 and battlefield Vietnam.
I want to be nice and fresh when WoW comes out and not be burned out on MMORPG's.
