I know people are getting sick and tired of seeing these, but based on the game being released, I just wanted to make sure my comp could run it. I'm fairly sure it can but like I said wanted to be 100%
Specs:
Intel Celeron 2.93 ghz Processor
1 gb ram
Geforce 6200, 256 mb Video Card
I'm not sure if anyone has specs close to mine and if they play, and how does it run? Thanks for replies!

Im deffinetly thinking no it could not run it, shit your lucky if you can run ANY modern game on that clunker. No offense but if you intend to play anything other then WOW in the near future its time for a upgrade man. You've got to realize AOC is a graphic intensive application and even on LOW settings it looks really good. So dont expect to run it on a 3 year old, bottom line PC. My guess is if you tried to run it on low you would get anywhere from 1 to 5 fps. Again I am not trying to bash your pc but just dont come and wine on the forums that it wont run on your pc when you knew in advance of buying it that it most likely wont.
Well lets put it this way mate, I'm running with:
Intel E6600 Processor (dual core at . . . . erm . . . . 2.4 I think)
6gig of 800MHz RAM
AoC installed on a 10k RPM sata drive
and a 7600gt graphics card
Now, AoC only just runs on low settings with that setup due to the graphics card - I get an average of 10-15fps
So no, there is no way your PC will run AoC I'm afraid mate
I dont usually like to respond to but in this case I will make an exception. First of all I am running this game on a almost 2 year old laptop, It has a 7600go graphics card 2 gigs of slow ass ram, a 5200 70gig HD, a 1.8ghz C2D and vista 32 bit. This game runs just as good as the best MMO's out there, and better then some that have been out for years(EQ2, Vanguard). Also, since they applied the miracle patch in open beta I have never had a loading screen that lasted more then 40 seconds(Only around 2 seconds for inns), and that includes loading the HUGE lvl 20+ zones. Also my FPS stay between 25 and 35 always, at a resolution of 1280x800 on low settings. You can easily make a computer that will play this game MAX at a high resolution with less then $1000 as has been shown in numerous threads on these forums. In conclusion from your post above I would say you have either A)Never played AOC. Are a rampant fanboy for some other game and you dont want the player base leaving. C) Are payed by a competing company to create a bad image of this game. In any case just let me tell you that you succeed at none of these options and just come off sounding like a hateful dipshit who has never even played AOC.
You seriously need to update graphic drivers and get rid of all the junk on your PC or something because you could be getting MUCH better FPS, look at my previous post as an example of how it runs on a clean machine with updated drivers.
I just rebuilt my PC last week and updated to all the latest drivers, all I have on it is the operating system and AoC - I'm running Vista 64-bit . . . maybe thats the problem . . . .
By the way, I wasnt bashing the game in any way shape or form, I absolutely love it!! I was just giving an honest account of the performance I see based on my system specs.
Maybe the performance will improve once I leave Tortage - I'm level 18 at the moment so shouldnt be long.
You don't need to concern yourself much with Zorndorf . He has zero credibility as he's so blinded by his fondness of a particular game to objectively acknowledge real merits and real flaws in other games. He's not the only one in these forums of course.
I suggest u test ur PC here:

It will give u an indication on how far off u might or might not be.
How about mine, another clunker?
Dell Diminsion 3000
Pent 4 2.8 ghz, 2 gig ddr ram, ati HD2400 256 mb card
It pretty much boils down to the graphics card. You do need 2MB RAM, and a dual core processor to run it efficiently, but 1MB RAM and a high end single core processor would also be sufficient. Graphics card is the clincher. My Laptop (yes I know laptops are bad for games etc etc...) has 4GB RAM, 2.2GHz Dual Core Processor, and a 8400M GT graphics card. Everything except the graphics card is more than capable of running the game on full graphics. I made a post yesterday complaining about how badly it runs with my card blah blah. I was wrong. I looked carefully at all the shading abilities, pipes etc of my graphics card and set the graphics accordingly. I now have low-medium graphics including anti aliasing and the performance has not been reduced from what I had on the lowest graphics. I get between 8 and 30 FPS depending on the area I am in and the amount happening. Perfectly playable.

I don't get it I'm running mine with a very similar setup and I can barely get the game to function. I think I hit somewhere in the range of 18 fps when I'm playing on night mode...daytime probably 10
I only get between 15-30 fps with everything on low! I don't have a great computer but i should get more i think...my graphics cards are whats doing it i think, but still .. I'm running a amd 64x2 dual core running at 2.5ghz each core.. 2 gb ddr2 ram i have oc'd running at 1000mhz.. and dual 8500 gts..with 512 of ram in each..and they are also overclocked. I was hoping to be able to run on medium but nope...i get like 10 fps at most on medium..this sucks. Getting a 8800 gt in a few weeks though, maybe i can run on high then
Well lucky me as it turns out i'll be building a new computer very soon. My next question, advice on the video card. Whats a good card for AoC that runs it nice and smoothly, and still won't set me back like $350? :P
I ordered this one a few days ago and will be here tomorrow

Check out Tom's Hardware ---> Charts --> Desktop VGA Graphics Card ---> and choose your benchmark.
Here's a link to it, but I realize the link looks bogus, so I thought I'd let you know how to get there if you didn't trust random links.

And it helps to scroll down and click 'View All Products' as that will list most current cards.

if you want to run the game smooth with good eye candy then i personally would suggest atm to buy either one of nvidias 8800 cards (the 9 series is more expensive usually) or if you want ati one of the 3800 series.
but if its not top importance to buy the gfx card right now you should maybe wait 1-2 months, there is a lot rumors going on atm that both ati and nvidia will present the new high end series in probably allready in june.
the new series is supposed to be a lot faster than the current ones as its new design and not just a small update to designs (like 9000 series from 8000 series for nvidia). even if you don't buy the new series cause it mabye will be a bit expensive at launch, there will definitely be pricedrops for the current gfx card series.
I think I will pass on this game. It seems it needs your blood in order to run it.
I passed, all except processor that is. It says 3.0 and I got 2.8.
