I give up...

Early yesterday I was able to play, I was having performance problems though so I canceled my subscription. Yet of course I was still able to play , after tweaking somethings I was able to get my computer running it better. So I decided ill try to resubscribe yesterday afternoon soon as I do that my account is frozen (Funcom sends me the only email theyve sent me ever saying my payment method is bad) Yet it isnt.....Ive checked all info throughly and tried everything they've said to access the forums.

Nothing works, I emailed them last night waiting for a reply but......ugh not being able to get on the forums and REAL customer support is just pissing me off. I was hoping that after todays downtime it would work but of course it didnt. And yes my retail key is entered and all that.

    Who says a threw a temper tantrum? I was having problems with my ATI video card and wasnt aware there was a way to fix it since i didnt have access to the forums. Luckily I was able to find a helpful person. Thats sorta what you do when something wont work/or not using you cancel it for you dont get charged later, correct? It also wasn't right away it was a good 7 hours later after first having problems.

    Did i just pull your legg? =)     chill bro, you will get help eventualy... there is about a couple 100.000 ppl waiting to play AoC.  Tomorrow all will be fine :p

    Wasn't meant to be I guess... must be a sign that you're meant to play WAR later this year.

    Actually, I hope they do get your account issues sorted out. Its a pretty fun game, and it would be a shame if you can't get back in to play.

    Dont you love how helpfull is some people here?.

    In your case I'll try to things. Give the account system some days, a week or so and try again.

    or contact customer support and explain your situation.

    What happened to you is perfectly norma If you unsubscribe and resubscribe in the same day or in a short time frame. It frozed your account probably cose of that to avoid problems and scams.

    I think it is more unreasonable for you to "Give Up" after the Customer Service Issues than with the performance issues, though I think waiting a week or 2 couldn't hurt. The game just launched with apparently many many players. This is pretty understandable. I just had a payment verification issue with NewEgg this previous Thursday. I made sure to place the order for my CPU the moment my Tax Refund was in the bank to guarantee I'd get it before the 3 day weekend coming up. Unfortunately they didn't accept the billing info and by the time I found out late Friday they had closed Customer Service minutes before and I had to wait for Monday to get the order even processed. Monday I had to call twice and wait a good 6 hours to finally get through the issue. Apparently I had used a Phone Number that my Credit Card Company didn't have on file. Did I have Egg on my Face? No. Because even though it was my own idiotic fault I kept my cool and now I can expect my cpu tomorrow(A Day Early Woot!)

    Isn't it awesome how great the community here at mmorpg.com is... if they can't kick you when you're down, they'll most certainly make fun of you when someone else is.

    And if all else fails... there is a phone support number out there. You'll have to dig it up though.
