I don't know if anyone has had similar problems, but my minimap and normal maps have not been showing the cursor representing my character and keep zooming into the top left corner, has anyone else expereinced this problem or know of a way to fix it?

Only problem I've been having with the map is when it greys out after talking to an NPC, but apparently there is an easy interface changable option to fix it when it happens.
Regarding the errors you mentioned no I have not experienced this, but I suggest trying the simpleconfig.exe in the conan folder to try and correct any errors using the tool in there.

Click on the down arrow in upper right hand corner by your minimap. Make sure that show quest indicicators is checked.
