wtf funcom support

look at this..  i messaged funcom support and recieved email 48 hours later

I had already entered my Retail key and got to level 14 yesterday morning i awake to find my account frozen and that i need to enter the retail key of cource it wont work because the retail key is already tied to the account i even claimed my rewards..

There are two possible reasons for your account closing.



One is that you have yet to enter your retail key. Once the servers went

to wide release on Mat 20th, all accounts were frozen pending the

registration of the retail key. Once you enter the retail key on your

account, it will reopen



The other is that your initial Early Access payment did not go through

and thus your account was frozen. The payment will resubmit itself so

the account will open once it has gone through.



Sorry for the confusion.

 

This is 0% help to me.. its an error on there side i even told him i had already entered my retail key.

    first off there was no payment to be cleared asides the $5 for early access which i was denied and this is retail not early access...

    it even says my subscription is open and recuring just frozen because i don't have a retail key entered because I CANT ENTER IT

    it wont work. cause i did it yesterday

    What do you mean "you were denied" the $5 for early access?

    the problem is my key will not register to the site where as i already have registered it so it will not let me.

    and i have registered it to my account

    I think he's actually trying to help you by understanding your situation.  You're a bit vague in describing things...

    wtf?  I don't know if it is or not dickhead, I'm trying to get as much information about your situation as possible so I can give it some kind of informed consideration.  I guess you can blow me.  Nice knowing you, and have fun with your game.

    Yeah I know how you feel, I too paid 5 dollars but it was declined for the early access (before it was "out) or actually about the sametime it was announced out lol. Than I was able to play the morning it came out and  a few hours later my account is frozen and I recieve a email stating that my billing info is wrong (which it is not) I emailed them explaining everything and I just received the exact same response you did. Renetering the retail key is useless because it says no offer is valid (since I already did that) and I guess I can try to resubment the payment of early access that I didnt get into? Oo

    i was in your situation as well.  my account was frozen on launch day. now all that is not working is being able to log into the forums....

     

    try doing this and let me know if it works.

    go to the register page.

    click on where it says "use a key or prepaid card...etc"

    make sure you enter your validation key from the back of the manual where it asks for that key

    then go to your payment options and enter your cc info in. it will not bill you until your free 30 days are up.

    after that you should be good to go

    Only thing I can think of is possibly your credit card was denied or shows as being invalid.  Try going through your account and updating everything that they will let you update.

    done that and they have no phone customer service + the problem is not with  credit card but with hte key...

    My retail key wont register on the account.. ive already registered it once but it wants me to redo it.. and so it wont work

    Aprilmay I've had a similar issue whereby when I entered my retail key it told me that the key was part of a batch that needed replacing. I've sent quite a few emails to nofuncom customer support and finally had a response saying 'thankyou for contacting us, there is no problem with that retail key'. 

    Like hell there isn't - why do they think I've been trying to contact them.

    I've also been sent to a page that asks me to validate my key code, this page does nothing.

    I still can't find any answers about how to proceed. I'm searching forums now...
