right now, the non-pvp server has consentual pvp and the pvp server is open pvp (horde vs alliance) in higher level zones

I have never played PvP before but my brother and I, and two of his friends, are going to play on the PvP server. Its just one more thing to do if you hit the level cap and need something to do. Get bored after getting your hero class? Go stage a raid!

They are altering how PvP servers will be and I think it is for the best. I.E.... Auto PvP in selected zones, cities, and at high lvls... Much like the DAOC concept. Which I think is great and most likely will play PvP server if this is true!

Yeah well it was either WoW, or EQ2 + Uprading my graphics card for 500 dollars. If I get WoW i can put that $500 dollars towards something else .

Which reminds me, i need a guild to join .

Lol you know where to sign up. We now have 72 beta tetsers confirmed for the released version making our ranks, good times.

Yes the pvp system word has it, will be tweaked further to match the pioneer of frontier raids, DAOC.

It's going to be somethiing special.

I have a couple of wierd questions on PvP:

Will it be possible to switch sides? I can see a Human Warlock wanting to hang out with the undead, and Medivh was mariginally allied with the Horde during their more demonic days.

Will it be possible for Alliance and Horde players to group in non-PvP zones?

The only way you'll be able to fight together would be on the full pvp server. Everyone Vs. Everyone. Guild Vs. Guild. They don't even have this in the beta, however.

Right now it's Faction Vs Faction. Horde Vs. Alliance, no switching in any way shape or form. Not to mention that only the undead can communicate with the alliance atm. (No language skills yet either)

If there is a way...I'll find it.
