Hi,
I'm an ex-WoW player, and ive been wondering. With all these new games comming out, how many of you, the WoW community, are actually going to play them, and if so, which?
- Cheers

Phantasy Star Universe. I've always loved that series.
also, if you do select other or non-listed game, please precise which, as I'm very curious to know
Staying with WoW..either casually or more hardcore, depending if I can find a different game
I really like WoW, it has a very addictive mixture of a polished gameplay and world, some interesting PvE and PvP moments when you look for it
Ofcourse there are things you can impove but WoW is doing that since day 1 so I dont see why I should leave
Still looking for something but aoc looks promising
well, looks like not many are actually staying.
The thing is, your poll is on MMORPG.COM where people look if they are interested in new MMOs coming out.
If people are very happy in WoW, they will probably not be frequenting this site very much.
I suspect that if your poll was posted on the official WoW forums, you would get a somewhat different result.
Like many other though, I am bouncing around from MMO to MMO (revisiting cap level characters) until War makes an appearance.
I have this game for PC but I bought it damaged from WallyMart and lost the recept, can I send it to the manufacturer and get it replaced w/o the receipt? I love this game, I want my store back. Waaaa!
I'll be playing AoC...
But when the next expansion comes out, WotLK, i'm probably going back, maybe subscribing for both, who knows....
Take the Magic: The Gathering 'What Color Are You?' Quiz.
AoC for me. WoW has no endgame. It's just gear collection. The pvp is pretty bad and i don't really feel a part of the world.
Just not my MMO anymore.
Dang, from the numbers here it looks like WoW is gonna drop to 3 million users or so.
/rolleyes
WAR....AoC is crap imo
Looking forward to WAR and AION so far.
I played MMORPG for 10 years and WoW had 3 of my years, the longest one out of the 20+.
WoW did a good job attracting non-MMO players into the field, yet its not my cup of tea. I get bored after the BWL age, I just had no choice then staying but finally I had to quit.
MMO played (paid):
AION
DragonRaja
Dungeons & Dragons Online
Lineage
Lineage 2
Tibia
Ultima Online
Warhammer Online
World of Warcraft
MMO tried:
Atlantica Online
Darkfall
Dead Frontier
Dungeon Runners
EverQuest
Lord of the Rings Online
Monster Hunter Frontier Online
Ragnarok Online
Requiem
Runes of Magic
Runescape
The 4th Coming
and some other Chinese/Korean or beta MMOs
WAR ftw!!!
Unless some major patch comes along AoC will definitely not hold my interest past the first free month. Funcom may have released a complete game in terms of mechanics, but failed to do so with content. Why anyone is playing on a PvE server is beyond me.
WAR seems to be a happy medium for me; character of WoW with a true RvR element. I can't really comment further, since I haven't had a chance to actually play, but I intend on at least giving it a go.
As to the OP's intent, I doubt I'll actually leave WoW for the foreseeable future. A hiatus maybe, but I keep being drawn back in lol. WoW is a fun game and the only reason I'd leave is if a real MMO is released (ie. an open world or universe).
* Eve comes close, but the lack of a playable avatar is preventing me from adopting the game full time. /crosses fingers for the Ambulation Project.

Oh, cruel fate, to be thusly boned. Ask not for whom the bone bones. It bones for thee.
