The excitement, the hype, raves, rants and heated debates all seem to have faded away.
Any FLS Dev's out there to help restore the excitement?

its not even worth posting on this board, the people viewing it are a handfull of lurkers that do nothing but bash potbs and give the fan boi remark to anyone that finds the game entertaining.
yeah i kinda agree with this. I think i have been through half the boards on this site now and they all have the same tone and seem to be pummeled in the same manner by the same set of users. The themes of the arguments are identical and if you like something your a fanboi which is supposed to be a put down I guess. I followed a link once awhile back at the bottom of one of these trolls singatures. It lead to private forum with under 100 users where there was a post near the top of the forum of a planned effort of a handful of users to sign up on MMORPG.COM under multiple alts/usernames somehow to avoid banning to "monitor" boards and to put "fanboi" posts down and put negative spin on things to "keep fanbois in check" . According to this post there is even a private forum where they take the threads and disect them and PLAN on how to attack the thread in some show of solidarity. Then I returned here and went through a few of the forums randomly and low and behold the same user names popped up again and again. I one case I was reading a new thread on a new game still in alpha where MMORPG.COM was busy trying to not have these guys derail the thread and posts were being deleted at the same time I was reading it and another username would pop up with more negative stuff that was derailing the entire thread. I kinda realized as I watched the battle between these guys from this private forum and MMORPG.COM that its pointless to say anything here and they should probably be left on their own to spin their threads. If they have no one to troll they might actualy find something else to do. Anyhow it was interesting and sad at the same time. One thing is certain though if you say something positive someone is gonna come along and say the opposite just to keep "fanboi's in check". They feel it their roll in life and on these forums. So just let them play their roll. If I found this information then most other people do as well over time I"m sure. There is some kind of battle going on here and to be honest game quality is not a factor in it and somethig else is although I"m not sure what lol.
That's kinda what's kept me from posting as well.

That's ridiculous. If you really like the game and can find some good in it why do you care what some random person on a forum calls you?
I'm thinking the real reason is there probably isn't a whole lot let to say, positive or negative. The game is what is, you either like it and play, or hate it and don't. The discussion is over for all purpose and its now time for games like AOC and WAR to go through the wringer.
Why do people even come to these forums if they don't enjoy debating, arguing and even trolling about games. What the heck else are they for?
Who cares if fanbois rave on one side and trolls viciously tear down their threads? That's what I like about the boards. If you aren't having fun, why are you here?
