My PC specs:
Pentium IV 3.0 Ghz Extreme (2MB L2 cache, 800 Mhz FSD)
2 Gigs of Ram DDR 1 Dual Channel
Nvidia 7800 GS 256MB
Any others out there WHO ARE PLAYING AOC with specs close to the ones I have????????
If so what do you have to say about the performance?????

I play on medium settings with shadows and grass off and textures on high and I get a good 30+ fps. I am really impressed with the performance i get.

Well I play on my laptop with 4GB DDR2 RAM, Dual Core 2.2GHz processor, and a GeForce 8400M GT. Appalling card really in terms of good games, but turn shaders onto 2.0 and everything else runs on high settings with 15-40 FPS. Which is awesome. The shader model you use makes so much difference...

Running at the default video settings.
My system is a little bit above yours but not by much IMO. A minor issue that I saw when I was playing for a little bit were that the intro video was suddering and bit. In the actual game things run surprisingly well. When I change areas things seem to jump around a bit but after a few seconds they smooth right out.
Good stuff guys. ANYONE ELSE? The more the better!... I am very interested in this title... the only thing is that I do not want to rush out and get it without a good sense of the performance...
So yeah bumping this.. I want to play this game, but I'm not sure if my comp can run it well enough. My specs are
AMD Athlon 64 3800+
3 gigs of DDR1 RAM
ATI Radeon X1950 Pro
Will it be enough for like medium settings?
AMD 64 3500+
2 Gig DDR400
ATI Radeon 1650 512mb
Wins XP sP2
Getting pathetic frames per second., usually around 5fps-15fps
I went out and purchased the game. Played around with the specs and now it runs nice and smooth. Not everything is maxed, for example shadows I have on low while textures I have on medium. The game looks great. But I must say that it would be nice to max the settings. It makes the game look stunning. As for the few hours that I have played I must say that I am happy about purchasing it. I do not have the top of the line PC and am still pleased with the game. Hope to upgrade my system in the near future (not just for this game) and then enjoy the great visual detail funcom provided, sadly it does take a power PC to have decent frame rates at those settings.
If you are in doubt about buying this game..... GO GET IT.
Look at my PC specs (which are not that great) and I am telling you that it runs good on Medium settings. I really am enjoying this game.
One more thing.... just cause someone has a good PC does not mean that the game will be running smoothly.... as we all know this is not an X-BOX 360 or a Playstation 3, by that I mean you just cant play and expect super results.... TWEAK TWEAK AND ONCE AGAIN TWEAK your settings.... see what is best for your PC. Update your driver etc.
