I downloaded the updater for the 14 days free trial..
It`s normaly that the download takes almost 40 hours?

40 hours isn't bad - based on the updater's estimate, I'm wondering if I'll get a chance to play in the next two weeks!

you should really look into getting a better internet connection if that is too slow for you
Well, ZeroVirus, I can't speak for ChrisUck, but for me downloads from other sites are often in the 500k/sec range. I suspect the free trial was popular, and being timed with the revisit offer, their servers were just being hit hard. Sounds like they've recovered!

Patching up from issue 11 took about an hour for the download and another 10-15 minutes to install this morning. I'd say the system is getting taxed a bit still.
That wouldn't surprise me. I was getting about 30k/s when I started my install, but that was the whole game, so we're talking over a gig of data. I let it run overnight, and it was done by morning. No complaints here - it was way faster than they estimated. I'm assuming normal updates are smaller and faster.

Bad timing that's all. You picked a time where plaync reactivated all coh accounts. Lots of ppl are downloading the game/patch atm.
