Anyone playing with only 1 gig of ram?

I only have 1 gig of ram and was wondering if anyone would is playing actually plays with 1 gig. If so, how is the performance. Before you guys tell me to go out and buy another gig or 2, I am going to say I am working on getting the cash for that :P but I'd still like to play AoC if I can with a gig while I work on the upgrade. Thanks in advance.

ROFL, havn't had 1 gig of ram for more than 7 years!  My older PC I built in early 2001 I put 2gb in!

GL if you plan on attempting AoC with only 1gb...

Just a question of the ram. I am not really that great with computers but do I just buy 2 sticks of ram and just stick it in and it'll auto install? Sorry, I don't know if that would be correct or not.

Ram is the cheapest part nowadays. No excuse for not having 4 really, unless the motherboard is a dyno and won't accept it.

Haven't really looked at the prices but if it is cheap like you say then great :) I'll go shopping in a day or 2. Would i just stick them in the slot where ram goes and it'll auto install?

Yes, but you need to make sure that it's the right memory for your computer/laptop. There are some variations floating around. Laptop memory would be a tad more expensive but both hard drives and memory are currently the cheapest peripherals in the computer.
