Graphics card question

I am customizing a desktop on Alienware on the following page

http://www.alienware.com/configurator_pages/aurora.aspx?SysCode=PC-AURORA-R5&SubCode=SKU-GAME

If you scroll down to the graphics cards, which one is the best out of the Nvidia Geforce 9600 GT and the Ati Raden HD 3870

You sound like a helpful person Enigma, can you link me to a good rig for the same price or lower, and if all else fails then maybe send me an email on how to build one, I'm probably the biggest computer noob you'll ever meet tho

Have to agree with Enigma on this one. Unless you want to pay a lot of money just for a "status symbol", then stay away from Alienware, Falcon and any of those very expensive companies.

ibuypower.com is probably the best place for someone who can't build the computer themselves to shop.

I have to agree with everything in this thread. I bought an iBUYPOWER rig they are awesome. Ieven know how to assemble my own . I have a friend that bought alien ware a few months after I bought my PC or so, and he had all kinds of trouble. All the way up to being threatened that they wont replace his, sent to him broken, PC. took him several months to get something he paid way too much for. I never had one problem with my PC, and I am very certain they would have promptly taken care of any I did have.

If your using vista 34bit only supports 2gb of ram and 64bit supports up to 4gb or 8gb not sure
