Well thats cool and all but I was in the beta for that game and it wasn't worth even doing that. Unless they made some major, uber, awsome changes to the game I'll pass.
Well SOE took over and revamped the combat to make it more MMORPG ish...I'm sure its changed a LOT since the beta dude so give it a try.
Well Sony taking over would make me not want to try it. The combat is more mmorpg? And thats a good thing?
To me..it makes the combat faster simpler and doesn't take up a lot of the screen and it stil looks great with the animations and such.
Thanks for letting the boards know about this, I mean trying a game for free only really costs you your time, lets you know if you want to keep playing the game or I don't know "Want to play it"
Thanks again! ~XGC
oh thanks,im not see this topic..im waiting 3 days a key:D
im download the game in station launcer;)and 14 day trial!!!:D
thanks again
This too is a great way to try MxO for the same ammount of time that a trial key would give you. Please remember that this program is still in beta and might... crap out from time to time heh.
At any rate if you chose to use this program to get your trial make sure we have not sent you a key! If we have and you don't plan on using it please send it back so we may give it to another user
You could say this about the whole game.
Heh ill check this out now actually, just posted for a buddy key but if this works, Thanx
Thanks for the info. I will look into this.
I thought MO was already released?
The Chan
"Why yes, I am the Chan"
yes, MxO has been released already, and for those of you out here who are saying it's a bad game, That's only an opinion.
The Matrix Online, is a largely community based game, with all of its players, on a "first-name" basis. If you like a good Role Pay, or just like games with a good community, MxO's the real deal.
On the gaming side of it, MxO is free as a game, and you get the 14 day trial. why not just jump in and try it out? If anything, MxO looks great, with some of the best MMO graphics to date, and the fighting isn't just point and click away for hours on end, and the old "rock paper sissors" combat has been removed. PvP and PvE flows nearly flawless with the only glitches being a slight error in directions in small rooms.
Overall its more of a community game with constant updates to the ever evolving story line, and some great player made events, like parties in some of the hundreds of clubs, parks, and monumental areas of the Mega-City.
If your into a good community check it out.
This way seems to have worked for other people so I hope it works for me too. I played the game when it first came out and gave up on the Rock, Paper, Scissors combat system. Then tried it again a little after Sony took it over and wasn't too impressed. But at the time it seemed like it was in the "Sony just took us over and is trying to revamp things but it's just one big mess right now". If they made good on their promise to make the combat system better this will lead to more than a 14 day trial for me. I loved the roleplaying in this game. It was the combat system that turned me off. At the time it was laggy and it seemed like everyone and their grandmother could beat me up with their hands tied behind their back.
