The people who say they are leaving after the thirty days mention all the good about the game and the reasons they are leaving. Be it instancing or whatever. When it comes to the good things or maybe newish things about the game fans say the same things as those who are leaving. Great graphics, combat system... that's it. Aside from that all I hear is 400000 copies sold. I could care less about numbers...give me the real story . I guess this would be a question to the fans. What else about it do you like. The people who are leaving have all agreed with you on the good...what else is there that keeps you going? What is that special thing in the game that makes you say ... I want to go check this out today. I have heard nothing from anybody...and I am somebody who plans to give it a go, just waiting for traders and sieges to be implemented. I realize I mentioned these in another thread, but noboy aside from Enigma responded and I appreciated that. He has given good reviews of the game from his persepective and has not bashed the game.

What do you want to hear. The good and the bad have been said, over and over again. Some dislike certain things, some don't care about them, others enjoy them.
I enjoy the gameplay. I enjoy running through the areas with my GF and duoing the quests and mobs. I enjoy the Combat, I think it is engaging and fun to play. I enjoy the world as it is pictured and I don't care about the Instancing. For me, it does nothing to damage the immersion or gameplay. SOme might see that differently, but well, that happens with everything.
All in all, I suppose everyone has to find out for himself if they enjoy playing the game. If they do, they play, if they don't, they quit.

Sings of Death I was just asking if there is anything else special about the game. I am happy to hear you are enjoying your play so far.
My reason is simple...... ITS NOT WoW.
I was so sick of killing illidan and completed all the sunwell plateau content in under 4 weeks of its release i had had enough.
Because all of the gates in Sunwell were open instantly, amirite?
Sings of Death...being that it is an MMO I was asking what would keep you playing it for 3 years. Do you see that happening?
To Iys, hehe I played wowo for 4 weeks because old guild mates from another game went there. Wasn't for me so I can't comment aside from ...I didn't get into it.
You ask me about that special something...*shrugs* I can't name it to you. It feels fun playing the game. What about the game is it? The way things look and fit into the world of Conan maybe. The way teaming up with my GF gives a whole lot of fun in fights and travels. I honestly can't put a finger on it, I just know that I enjoy the game and that is the main motivating factor for me in any game.
Will I be playing this in 3 years? Hells I don#t know. For now at the pace I am levelling with and how the game appears to me, I'm thinking of at least 1 year of great fun for me.

OP - I love this game so far. The gameplay is extremely entertaining, the visuals are fantastic, and I'm a huge fan of Howard's Conan stories, so the story and world are very appealing to me. The environments are gorgeous and very engaging. When I got to Cimmeria and went out into the mountains, I took a minute or so to just stare out into the valley...gorgeous. I haven't had an experience like that in a long time. The music is also very well done.
The game just launched a week ago, so they're still working out bugs and polishing content, but I definitely see myself sticking around for a long time.
