you seem to have missed......the games great and so far IMHO i have not yet seen anything i would seriously call a flaw....thats where i would put my vote at this point in time....
EDIT: as soon as you add that i will cast my vote

Im really enjoying the game so far but, unlike people who are 50+ so far I've only made it to 28 (on two different characters) and up to that point at least I haven't been short on content and have always had stuff to do and none of my quests have been bugged. I did have some problems with the trader recently and have had a couple of crashes but for me at least, the games runs pretty well.
I consider myself a more casual gamer though (as far as aoc goes because i'm also playing the WAR beta and my time is split pretty evenly)... It will be interesting to see what the server populations look like after the 30 days of time. Most people I talk to in-game and in my guild are going to be around for several months at least but of course the forums are full of doom and gloom and people saying they aren't paying aftere the initial 30 days.
the game is hardly flawless, but the flaws, that I've seen, are hardly show stoppers. I've been having alot of fun in it the past two weeks (I was in the EA) and I've got a lvl 27 Guardian and a lvl 22 Assassin, both of which I love to play.
I've gotten most of my t1 harvesting quests done on my guard (probably the only one I'll do them on as I am not a big harvester and having one character who can do that is fine by me, plus it doesn't fit my RP, so in doing it, I have to leave their characters behind while I harvest), but I am looking foward to doing some crafting as a weaponsmith (and armorsmith if you can take two professions)
I give it a 5/10 also. It's an ok game. Combat system is kinda neat. Graphics are ok. Bank is finally working. Resource gathering for 1st tier crafting starts at 20, second at 40, I've heard. Crafting doesn't start till 40. I can play it about an hour or two before it bores me. It's fun but it's a casual game for me. I will probably subscribe for a while but it does not hook me like other games have.
I see no evidence that it is dying. Sure some folks have tried it and decided they won't be continuing onward for a variety of reasons, maybe their hardware didn't handle it well, maybe the linear quest based design was not to their liking, or the world was too restrictive.
Happens in every game, but in the meantime, there's still lots of folks thinking about giving it a try.
We'll know in a few months if the game has a lasting appeal.

How can you say that when people are unable to vote on what they would like to vote!
you think the game has zero bugs, Oriphus?
OFC it has flaws....everything does! so it seems silly to say it, except to have another poll that shows no positive light on the game...hmmm wonder why /scratches chin. Why not just say, no the game is good. I find the poll a bit of a sham sorry, its as plain as day, so i make a little fun out of it.
What i would consider a flaw for an mmo would be a very serious game breaking feature that renders the game unplayable, everything else is just...well..work in progress

Great game, poll is showing this pretty well. Despite the fact that people unqualified to a full opinion (people who have not experienced the game firsthand for an extended period of time) have the option to, and will, vote on it.

There are some major bugs but the game has only been out a week. I'm sure the devs are hard at work to fix them.
My first impression regarding performance was the game is a system hog. Now I'm not so sure. Playing at low with everything turned down or playing with everything maxed but with shaders and bloom off nets me the same fps. So yeah, there is something weird going on serverside in the way the game is utilizing some folks hardware. There was a post several pages long with people who have this same problem, where the graphics card during gameplay is only being utilized about 40%
Ofcourse, this is the kind of bug that makes a huge impression when you are trying to play the game and your performance sucks. But it's also the kind of bug that when its fixed is like night and day and a lot of performance complaints will be resolved.
So it's just a matter of time. They will fix some stuff and a lot of the complaining will go away. This is my belief.
I think its going to die, whether I want to keep playing and sticking it out or not. Yes, I regard almost all of those games to the left as being dead since a large community is really required.
In my opinion there are problems with the game that won't be rectified, or can't be rectified. For example, the demonologist class isn't what most people expected it to be at all and there are a whole lot of invisible walls and sticky places. Invisible walls are all over the place in the wilderness terrain, and you couldn't look at an area and foretell that there would be one. Sticky places are obvious when you gu up stairs, ramps, and hills.
The controls feel very finicky, and remind me of the later Tomb Raider games from the late '90s. Possibly for good reason. Right down to the sprint ability.
That all goes hand in hand of course, with not actually being able to explore a goodly chunk of the game that you installed. People say that the maps are huge, I say its a lot of wasted space since we obviously aren't supposed to explore that much of it.

I've not yey had a chance to try the game but I'm reading a lot of negative feedback. What is wrong with the game, in you opinion?
Come on people what is so wrong with this game then? It was months the N°1 fanboi game on this forum before it was released. I've read loooots of topic about how great this game is gonna be and how hard it will dominate other games. Since it's release I have only read negative things about it. I haven't played it yet but is it so bad then? A game that just has released, has still lots of bugs and other problems. But that's normal.
I can remember me the days when Wow came out ( I bought the game few days after release),server chrashes..bugsbugs and other problems.. but those problems get solved after a while. And that will aslo be with AOC. Just give it some time and the problems will be solved.

The complaining will go away because a lot of the people complaining will have left by then, that is my chief concern. No, they probably aren't going to come back. When the company realizes that...

If by dying, you mean they had to add 9 new servers in the first 2 weeks to keep up with server populations, then yes. It's dying... The fact is, some people don't like it because their machine can't run it. Some people like it because it's not WoW2. But as for there being something wrong with the game that makes it unplayable or just not fun: there really isn't anything like that. The game has a lot to offer in the way of later-level play. The graphics are the most advanced of any MMO. And while it doesn't break any huge molds in gameplay, it breathes a bit of life into the typical system that has been around for over a decade.
If you don't like the game, then don't play it. But there are plenty of people who do and are going to keep playing it.

I rate the game 5/10 Its not bad but its not good. Its an average game to me
With that said, no, I do not think it's dying nor will it for awhile.

AOC has flaws but none are showstoppers
except the HORRIBLE Tech support
if you are among the unlucky players that do have problems getting into the game
either due to Frozen Accounts or program bugs introduced because of patching (and didnt exist before)

Your poll is quite restrictive I'm afraid, but yea - we'll be able to tell in a few months... what does it matter really?
