Dear Age of Conan Subscribers,
First off, we appreciate you sticking with us through these tough times. We are aware that most quests do not work at levels 50+, and that most advertised features are nonexistent. As you level through and report these bugs, you help us greatly to make a better game for the Xbox 360. Our volunteer and intern GMs will be happy to assist with any major issues in a manor of days after reporting. You are the customer, and we care a lot about you. With this in mind we want to send a thanks out to the PC players that make it possible. You guys are the best, and are saving us a financial burden on our lacking and overdue release. We believe that your subscription fees will truely make an excellent gaming experience for the Xbox 360 gamers who truely appreciate your work.
Kind Regards,
Funcom

lol is this true give source please
Dear non-Subscribers,
we have nothing for you, so why do you keep coming to our game and make complaints about it when you do not, in fact, play it? We have more important things to do than listen to people whose only business it is to cry and whine, for example correcting bugs in the game, adding more content and improving what is there for those that -do- care about the game. /end sarcastic reply to sarcastic post
So please take this moment of time to think about why you continue placing all these posts on the board, because in the end, all it does is make you look like you can't possibly take it when other people are enjoying something you apparently can't.
Kind Regards,
Me.
Which Final Fantasy Character Are You?
Final Fantasy 7
Of course it's a joke. No company would ever post something that said we have a broken game thanks for testing it...especially not in such blatant terms.

Well all the stuff ive been reading about funcom/gms in general and thier (lack of) support i wouldent be surprised tbh
Compared to this; compared to any previous MMO @ launch, AoC is shining in all aspects. That said, QQ. Can I have your stuff?

People who have to create conspiracy and hate threads to further a cause lacks in intellectual comprehension of diversity.

The main difference being that by February 2005, 80% of the population wasn't above level 35-40 in WoW. In fact I don't think a majority of the population in WoW was above 35 until six months down the road. This gave Blizzard a lot of leeway to catchup and put high end instances in and itemize the old ones. In Age of Conan this is very different.
You can reach the end of the quests in Age of Conan in a week of very casual playing and be stuck at level 50 or so with nothing to do but grind. There isn't even a point to doing epic group instances or boss encounters as they have no itemization. I'm talking very casual playing here, 2-3 hours every other day, or an hour a day.

It was fun at first....

You trolls crack me up! You don't have any clue do you? were you there when WoW started up? they had a thousand times less features and stuff to do when the game launched.
WoW had NO PvP, NO Arena, NO large endraids nothing... until years down the line... So please just go and die if you wanna troll about a game that is asome and is getting better every patch... gesssh just wait, we will get more raids, more refined PvP etc after eatch patch this is what mmo's do. So stop troolling the launch was a complete success get off it.
Not exactly, they come out with updates every other day.. already fixed the banker exploit, and have updated a lot of issues with different zones. Not sure what you guys have been up to..

Will we ever learn ?
Ya know, in all fairness, WOW and EQ 2 are great games that have been around a few years and have had plenty of opportunity to add great content. Just the other day my son and I went into a zone in EQ 2 that we had never been in before, even though it's an Echos of Fedwer zone, and had a great time. It was like exploring a new game/zone. There are so many to play in.
AOC is still in it's infancy compared to both EQ 2 and WOW. It really is unreasonable to expect AOC to be released with content that matches or exceeds games that have been out a few years. It may take a MMORPG company a year to add the content that gamers can burn through in a couple of weeks.
So slow down and smell the coffeee, give the developers some time to catch up. Don't max all your character slots out by week four.
Oh, and I absolutely hate the clowns coming onto the forums pretending to be Funcom employees. It's not like Funcom has open communication channels to clear up any questions. Then the trolls start muddying the waters even more by pretending to be Funcom employees. Getting hard to sort out the useful information from the chaff.
Damn, the game just came out and here we are throwing shit like a bunch of primates...lol
Let's give them at least a month and then start the shit throwing. Even though we bought the game, the first month is free, so we at lease owe them that. I for one am an actual casual gamer. BTW, casual gaming is not 2-3 hours every day or every other day. It's more like an hour or so every other day, hence the term casual. I'm having a great time and very much enjoying the quest. Perhaps I'll hate the game in a month though.
I feel like I got my moneys worth. I got at least a couple weeks of fun gameplay and I'm gonna make another character and probably have some more. I've put maybe 80 hours into the game and generally enjoyed myself for around $80 buying the CE. Thats not a bad entertainment value.

Never!
Without people like us the global economy would collapse and commies and ayrabs would rule the world!
DOH!
RIP AoC 2008-2008
I feel for ya dude I am lucky I am a slow leveler. I will get my moneys worth for the first 30 then come back in six months.
I miss DAoC
Funny how MMOs are the only technology products where it is acceptable to have missing features that were available in competing products 10 years ago.
Would you buy an MP3 player with 8-bit mono sound; a spreadsheet program that doesn't do graphing, or how about a Blu-ray player that can't fast forward or pause? Would you say "give it time, its still new" if you bought the latest greatest operating system that didn't include networking support but it was coming "soon"?
First person shooter and real time strategy games aren't considered worth bothering with by many if they don't include multiplayer. Why are features and functionality that define the MMO genre given a pass by players of those games?

Will Funcom ever learn ?
I don't beleive anything further needs to be said. (Btw I am just replying to the OP I haven't read any further posts / replies)
I couldn't agree more with ya Ozias!
I am neither a Fanboi or Hater of this game (or any game for the matter). But like all new games that come out , especially MMO's I, like a smart predator, lay low in the bush awhile to see if my prey is worth my invested time and or energy ("$").
People need to give it some time before you can kick this or any other game that interests you to curb.
I swear to God, society today are like a bunch of Veruca Salt's... "I want it and I want it now!"
