Trolls, can I ask you one favor please? Good. I'm gonna ask you to go away now, go back to whatever you were doing before you found this forum... Can you just do that, because you guys are SO clucking annoying!
Like, holy crap! I come here to post about some quests and review the game, but I'm not going to anymore, I would much rather just tell all of the trolls to go away! In all seriousness:
YOU DO NOT HAVE THE GAME. YOU HAVE NOT PLAYED THE RETAIL CLIENT. All you of you Open Beta tards think that the retail is the same as that, or even close... Well your wrong you stupid person. The retail is MUCH less buggy, and now it is even LESS buggy because they fixed a lot of bugs since launch.
Why don't you just give it another try, eh? Whats the worst that can happen, oh wait, I know, you'll actually enjoy it, thats the worse that can happen. Funcom worked very hard over the past 5 years to bring a work of art to you and you say 'I CANNOT USE THE TRADER FOR MY LV20 GEAR OMG SHOOTME' and stuff like this on the forums: 'I say good sirs, I talk like a gentlemen for the newbulars so I look more convincing even though I've never played Age of Conan. All in all, this game is a mess my fellow MMO players. Buying this game will bring famine to your peoples' . No, no one actually said that, but thats almost what its like.. sort of.
Anywhosie, what I'm trying to say is this:
People viewing this forum: Newbs, trolls, fanboi(like me, yes i am a fanboiiii), normal people, the like.

And all the normal people that are writing thorouh detailed reviews, played the retail client for your free 30 days, not rushing through the game to hit 80 for no reason, enjoying the landscapes and scenery, monsters, quests, storyline, combat, cities, and don't like the game, hey I'm down with that , no problemo.
But otherwise, go away before we all get moderated and the banstick comes out only to reveal more new accounts!

Played it to 38 hated it 90% of the time so what you re saying is obsolete.
Medication will do wonders for the OP.
I tried AoC; it didn't impress me in the first 7-8 hours of gameplay (in the early start), so I cancelled my pre-order.
And that's all I have to say about that.

Played : UO, WAR, Eve Online, SWG, GW, WoW, CoH/CoV, Rose Online, Lineage II, EQ II.
I was in beta from november till release. The game really had a much better launch than I ever anticipated in regards to it's performance.. Funcom did an excellent job fixing alot of bugs and low frame rates in cities. BUT, the game plays more like a single player RPG, rather than a MMORPG. This is it's biggest issue i have with the game.. And why it will get stale for most people except for the diehard fanboys.

The game is improved over beta in most respects, but is still buggy as hell and disappointing. Not to mention lacking many of the features that we were promised.

Its been out for some time now, many of us negative posters about have played the release version, and know what we are going on about
Level 61 here. That was when I also said: 'I've had it." Combat's alright, game has nothing else to offer though... Very shallow.
Anyway isnt mmorpg.com all about the trolls? Why post here looking for answers/discussions about the game, when they have forums full of people who actually enjoy the thing?
Yeah buddy. I have the game, I've played the retail client, I've lead a guild of a lot of people to endgame already, and I can say wholeheartedly that this game blows and needed about 5 more months of HARD work minimum.
It's another unfinished (and by unfinished I mean MMO-terms unfinished which means "in releasable condition") piece of crap that they thought they could be slick with and push on people to get $50 bucks
We are all suckers for buying into it. All they every really put out before release was footage of the noob zones of tortage. We all know that now looking back.
As a beta tester, I kept my word to abide by NDA, even though they really aren't that strong legally, but I always keep my word to abide by NDA, and will continue to in future betas, because some devs can actually fix things and I don't like to doom games before they come out.
In this case, I wish I had spoke up sooner and saved a lot of people their money. There's a lot of people like me out there right now wishing they could've put that $50 bucks in their gas tank or at the grocery store. They were hoping for something that would be a decent piece of entertainment and something different in the realm of MMO's.
What did they get? A pretty box and a cd of complete garbage software. Don't worry those of you that are pre-50 level. You'll see soon enough.
I'm all for freedom of expression, but I can't see this thread going anywhere but down from here, so, locked.
