Is this a good game, is the pvp good, im porb. get if the pvp is good image

    You can kill people at will in it and there is also town seiges. It has some nice classes, they seem reasonably ballanced. It has point and click movement and not much character customization. It was a fun game when it wasnt lagging, I think they may have fixed some of it now.

    As above poster said...  Its the best PvP MMorpg on the market at this time.  Although the graphics are somewhat dated, and the character customization features arent all that 'visually' class/character customization stat and spec wise are more intricate and detailed than any other MMorpg I have played.  Leveling is fairly quick.  PvP is open, but there is a safehold area till level 40 (75 max level).  Not to mention PvP is NOT level based...  Sure a higher level will have an advantage over you because of grandmastered spells and skills.  But a level range of 10 or so, especially at higher levels is nothing.  Its primarily stat and skill based.

    If your only and only intrest is open no hold bar pvp.

    Then shadowbane is for you.However,if you have other intrest in a mmorpg or want restrictions on your pvp then look elsewhere.

    Actually you can kill mobs for contless hours just like any other game. Just in this one there is something to break up the boredom called the pk.

    The reason i bought this game was in addition to being able to pvp openly being able to build a city develope a guild and so on was appealing. I have finally saved the gold to buy a seed , needed to start a city, and found that there is absolutely no land left.  There is noway to build a city  so now there is only one viable thing to do in this game run around and kill people  for what? if a kill fest is what ya want go to planetside. if building an empire is what ya want TOO LATE shadowbane is dead. All the flamers yada yada yada.  Give me your massed land space either individually or your collective buddies and then ill put some merit in what you have to say, otherwise the game died long ago as the collective organization of older players made shadowbane a useless waist of time for the noobs. we cannot accomplish what ubi said we could when promoting what this game is all about. one last comment to the devs...expand or slip away into oblivion, the game should never loose its original curb appeal or you will go to the MMO file drawer like the 15 other games we have tried.

    What are you talking about? New cities are being built and destroyed eveyday. Heck on the lower populated servers, half the world is free to build on. So stop with your Shadowbane is dead nonsense already

    Are you completely lost, hell it sounds like you are not even playing the same game. Sub your guild to a larger nation. Then bane a city of an enemy guild, Win the bane, Damn you have a city of your very own.  On Vengeance there is no room to plant new trees but you can always drop a capture bane by an errant guild ( guild that does not own a city).

    I think that SB is an awsome game, even when wish and the other new upcoming mmorpgs and ummorpg's come out i will still be there playing and supporting SB and the community. SB was the first MMORPG that i had played and I have only had good experiences with it, the community is awsome the gameplay is awsome the economic and society and politic systems are great, all around SB is an all together an awsome game. It is one of those games you love or hate, no boarder line. And I LOVE IT
