Hey guys,
read alot about the game, (mostly negative), and I still am thinking of giving the game a go. Im wondering though if my laptop can take a game like that though. Here's some details about my system. Try not to flame me, just double checking, even if I know its not good enough.
2046MB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce Go 7400 256.0 MB
2Ghz Dual core
If you have some experience with these types of graphic cards/systems and have tried it out. I dont mind playing with crappy graphics. I find I care more about who I play with and how good the game combat is.
Thanks.

I suggest you get a Desktop for this game. The stats you posted should be able to run the game on min settings with some graphical lag. 8800 seems to be what everyone says to get, my Radeon 1900x runs the game like silk except when in cities where i get 10-30 fps depending on the section.
So you think it will play with this system? Buying a new system and a game is way out of the picture for a poor college student btw.
You will not be able to run this game with 256 video card. Not even on low video settings. FPS will be so bad you will hate the game. Dont waste your money.
you're gonna lag a lot with those specs
People who have to create conspiracy and hate threads to further a cause lacks in intellectual comprehension of diversity.
you will have problems running this game at minimum graphics
You may manage to play at the lowest settings etc..
Laptops are just not designed for such game play though.. as much as they try to cram good video cards and etc in a laptop, the very design of a laptop leads to it easily overheating and thus making your FPS drop even more the longer you play, not to mention potentially make the thing have some physical issues, in theory.
To those who think Graphics Card memory is the only thing that matters, think again. A card with 256 memory can be better than a card with 512. What matters is the speed of the card, what shader version it supports and how many pipes it has.
So OP, check these things by looking up a review of your card online. You need to google not only the model number, but the makers number, and find a review. For example, I have a XFX (brand) NVidia 7800GTX (card type). This card can out perform many cards with higher numbers (ie, 8000 series cards) because it's overclocked at 1633Mhz and has 16 pipes.
Hell, I'm runnign the game on a single core 3100+ Sempron chip, 1.5gb ddr400 ram and a 4 pipe x1300pro (AGP to boot). Does it run great? No, but i get a pretty stable 10fps regardless of where I am in the game, sometimes I get closer to 20 in the wilds.
It is possible to run this on a low end computer. It won't be as pretty as what you are likely to see on a 8800GTS, but if you are willing to accept the poorer graphical resolution and zone times, you should be ok.
I run the game on
Intel core 2 duo 6700
2,66 GHz
2GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTS
10 000 rpm hardisc
I can play on medium settings well and still have good FPS. I guess I could get it running good on high too, but this works fine, and I prefer it smooth than beautiful ^^
if you get any problems, try turn down the resolution some, and generally decrease the settings. But you should be able to run the game fine with that I think
Appreciating the feedback, thanks guys. Any other peeps out there that run this game with a less-than-optimal-system with experience is also greatly appreciated.
