I take it casters can't do fatalities?

Hey all,

My ToS is up to 23 now, and I am enjoying myself.  I have a very nice pole arm that has a fatality buff on it, but I assume you have to complete combos to get them?  I have yet to see one with my priest.

Any casters ever get a fatality before?

My ToS will sometimes "fry" them , it turns them a bright blue and they scream and shake and then fall to
    the ground

    I'm assuming that's a "fatality" for us

    WOAH!!!

Whey the hell haven't I seen one yet?  Are there combos with spell chains, like HO's in EQ2?  I must be missing something here, thanks for the replies...

The fatalities for casters are a little more subtle.  Keep an eye on the buff bar at the top of the screen. . .they may be happening more than you notice.

    It's a Jeep thing. . .

As far as i know, caster fatalities happen when your last spell is a crit.... then the enemies are burnt or shocked heavily (demonologist) and you get a very nice buff for some seconds...

With the Priest of Mitra the enemy will float in the air for a couple of seconds with a blue glow around him before falling to the ground dead. The casters don't seem to get very many fatalities. You just need to kill an enemy with a spell or a combo to have a chance at a fatality. I haven't noticed any polearm fatalities, although you will still get the buff from them.

They can do fatalities, just no blood on the screen from what I've seen with my PoM

Casters can not only commit fatalities... They can commit suicide, post-50. :>

    SELF FATALITY!

for example the HoX fatality for the breath spell is the npc does a burningman emote while being on fire, then collapses to the ground.  I got it pretty often due to using the almost insta-cast version of it to finish off that last little bit of hp on stuff

¨casters can do multi fatalities on the same time, if their last aoe spell hits the dice right on them all heh.

Looks funny when 2-3 mobs all burst into fire and screams, just a shame it'll still be 1 fatality buff though.

they do but they are pretty pathetic.

The fatality with a priest is you grow about 3 inches and get a boost of Stamina.....no ugly death for the mob

Which? PoM and ToS definately have them as low as whenever the heck they get their first damage spell. Less than 5, I know that. I didn't really do much with Bear, but it can't be that bad. Right?

hmm maybe i read it wrong but i was under the impression one of the spellweaver classes dont get it until lvl 50 and wasnt it ToS that had spellweave removed temporarily due to zone crashes? They may have corrected that.

    Sorry for the Topic hijack!

Yeah my demonologist fatalities suck. I mean, they appear to actually be useless. The demo gets bigger like you said, and it appears that for something like 6 seconds your regen improves a lot, but meh. I can't even reach the next monster before the buff is gone.

Sometimes the mob does the fatality animation, but I don't get the lame buff at all.

What the hell ever. Freaking WoW had better 'fatalities' than that. But I didn't come to AoC with any real understanding of what fatalities were anyway, so I am not to disappointed.

ToS can do the "turn the guy blue and fry them" fatality from the start.
