You plan on running a 64bit os? Because if not, 3 gigs will do ya fine.
I have never used that brand of power supply before, so I cant really coment on it, but the rest looks ok.
Best thing to do is google each piece for reviews and comments. Would be something to do while you wait for others opinions.
There are 3 types of people in the world.
1.) Those who make things happen
2.) Those who watch things happen
3.) And those who wonder "What the %#*& just happened?!"
im going to be using Vista Ult b/c i hear its the best of the vista's
can anyone help me?
Yes, if you're going to build a high-end PC, then get it done right by someone who knows or, at the very least, take reputable advice from a specific forum. If it was me, I wouldn't be taking advice from posters on a games forum, but it's your money...
Your parts are near perfect. Here is my suggestion although your build should be fine.
Memory - OCZ Reaper 4GB (2x2GB) $114.99 Its cheaper, and has better timing.
Video Card - MSI Overclocked 8800GT $184.99 It will only have a marginal performance hit at far less the price.
Processor - E8400 Wolfdale $194.99 Its what your motherboard was designed to take. Its a smaller die size so it will have lower heat and electricity. Also its L2 Cache is larger making it perform better.
i have both the e8400 and the ocz ram and am very happy with both. Good suggestions
