Hey, so if you've just recently gotten Vanguard, you guys want to meet up on the same server so we all have someone to group with as we level up? What server is everyone playing on? I rolled on the PvP server, but after reading some threads and running around the world....it's basically bare.
Anyways, if anyone who has recently picked up the game wants to drop in and leave their character name and server that'd be great. Time for first day of summer class!! Two classes at 1.5hrs each is gonna be fun

Anyhows, yes the pvp server is bare. The game is more RP/Older players, Kinda the opposite of WoW

Yes the PvP server is dead.
PvP never really got much support, even less with the now much smaller dev team.
As a european I'm of course playing on the EU server Halgar.
I play on Seradon as well, names Adious I be the Monk man.
My lv 10 cleric was still there for me, so now I'm lv 15 on Seradon. Nethervoid is his name. I'm currently working the Qa Riverbank region of Qalia.

I haven't played in over a year, but was thinking of returning. I was on Varking, the faction pvp server. But now its been changed to FFA pvp server, which I dont like to much.
Are server switches available? I'd like to go to the most populated U.S server. But if not, then that will probably cause me not to return. I spent 3 full months leveling my Shammy and even got a rogue to 20, so I really would rather continue leveling my Shammy to 50 rather than starting over from scratch.

can anyone tell me if my new computer setup will run this game on high settings , i should be getting my new computer parts 2morrow or wednesday.

I just got Vanguard today, yey! I'm running at all max levels of detail and res, and omg its amazing, the only thing I don't have on stpidly high is the draw distance as like in most games this is the main reason for games to lag. The animations and the texturing are amazing, I'm so happy with this game I can't stop playing it, I only came on here to say how happy I am with it! I can't say one bad thing against the game at the moment, I'm only lvl 6 adventurer but I'm so happy, I'm crafting, havesting and doing the diplomatic side, haven't got a clue what half of it means but enjoying it all the same
My gf saw me playing the game and in the first 10 mins she wanted to have a go, which is amazing concidering she never does that lol. So shes now playing with the buddy code and we are playing online together(well, miles apart as we picked different races but the same faction, I'm sure we'll see each other soon lol), and shes loving the diplomatic side as its sooo different, I'm loving the crafting as it feels like you have control on the quality of the end product.
So for all those just concidering the game, don't need to think just buy it! Defo as its soo cheap for such a brilliant game!
Thats awesome sbanting, i helped my guild get a hall so i did alot of diplo myself . I really found that it filled in the lore of the game. I highly recommend that you do all the diplo starter quests in all the different area's even after you have outleveled them, you can get some nice cards for your deck and get a good feel for the different places . and on the plus side the high level diplo cloths are very nicly detailed and look great

Maybe we should make a guild on Seradon.
Could be just a alt guild since I know most of you are dedicated to your own raid/orignal guild.
I can log into seradon right now and start an alt there if we're set up a solid group with good classes to level up together.

Ahh well. Maybe they'll do it again sometime soon. I did resub yesterday and had probably the most fun I've had in a long time! I'll stick around on Sartok until another server switch is available.

Your pc is way better than mine and im running on medium setting, so yours should have no problem. But if i remember correctly i did see a thread about your graphic card problem being posted in the official forum, you might wana check it out.
My spec: AMD 3700, 2 gig ram, geforce 9600NT.
I'm new to this game and playing in seradon also! What you guys think if we set up our own guild? Kinda hard to find a guild now that im only level 8, warrior here in Dahknag Village. Name is Thealus. Playing in auzzie time 10pm to 2am. PM me if anyone is around this time

Wow. I hope i get my money soon. Because i want to play with you guys aswell xD Ive been longing to play VG for such a while now >> But yeah. It's almost impossible to find someone selling vanguard here in sweden. Anyone know a spot where i can find it for a fair price?

Sorry to hear that you are having such a tough time acquiring the game. Do you know anyone in a country that can get a copy shipped to them and they can ship it to you?? Just an idea.

I just bought the game, when it ships to my house I will roll a character on Seradon as well, not sure what class but I'll add everyone on my friends list and we could get a guild going.

I got the game via Digital download. I had done the same when Vanguard went out at first, and when I renewed my subscription I came across the option to download it again.
Now, I dont know if a really new player can do the same, but those who cant find the cd's on a shop may try that option.
I left the game by then at lvl 24 cos it was so buggy by then, but after having seen so many posts praising it and recommending old players to give the game a second chance now, I decided coming back. Since I have not played for that long I consider myself a new player, and I think I ll start from zero again. (I ve been in Lotro for a while, but the game has gone way too casual for me, so time to move onto something else).
I ll be on seradon, and I hope to come across you guys. I guess I ll roll a dark elf cleric.
i am a new player as well, and i will create my first character on seradon.
I play on Halgar the official European server .You may think the "Newbie " area's are empty but it's cause Telon is a massive world...you have no idea how big this world is .It's the best PVE Online game I've ever played ,highly recommended
