Will the posters on this forum EVER learn to include "I like pie" option in their polls so that people not actually targeted can see the results?
Your poll is going to be all screwy because a lot of people are going to be clicking whatever just to see what's the score.

Welli guess i could put i like pie option but i m considering anyone that has played has 1 of 2 options after the free month is up. Not much else can be said on that really.
Then again even though there was an option for the ones who want to see results, there will be a lot of people voting having not even played the game!

Not only for another month, I've subscribed for 6 months
I got faith in Funcom, even if the game may be somewhat unfinished -
so far the fun factor is alot higher than the game breaking factor for me, even as the game is.

Well I personally think that all polls on these forums fail!wow it isn't looking good for AoC... Looks like funcom has roughly 2 weeks or so to start turning this around..

Well being new to the game for only 1 week, all I can say is Awesome!
I am a very casual player when it comes to mmo games and only invest about 5 hours a week due to real life drama. My subscription ended a week ago in Star Wars Galaxies and this game is a great change for now.
I got 1 character that I started which is a Barbarian on a PvE server of course. And I am only at level 17 now. I don't see myself rushing to level 80 anytime soon. I hear alot of people complaining, but apparently its the higher level content I believe '50ish'+?
Anyways whatever the reason, I believe at my pace, I should be level 80 in 3 to 4 months. So I guess I will be subscribing after my 1st free 30 days.
Yeah, too bad you can't post this in the game where a few hundred thousand people actually playing are and will probably never even see this poll
When are game companies going to learn. Playing a new game for the first time is just like meeting someone for the first time, FIRST IMPRESSIONS means everything. Most gamers wont give a game a second chance. The first game company to release an MMO that is complete and polished at launch will be the MMO that de-throwns WoW. Being able to retain subscriptions at launch is key, losing more then 50% after the first month and might not evber get those people to try a second time is what not to do, but no company has learned that yet.

I voted Yes, but my real response is "it depends on how I feel in 2 weeks."
Right now, I have one foot in and one foot out. The only thing keeping me playing is the fact that I haven't tried all the classes and explored every zone. The quests are absolutely boring and a lot of things aren't in the game yet, that should be.
MMORPG's w/ Max level characters: DAoC, SWG, & WoW

I am assuming that people are trying to get level 80 in 1 month?
I always new that mmorpg.com was a hardcore site for mmo players, so I really dont listen much to alot of the ranting. Players like me will not see level 80 in 1 month, I will gurantee that to you.
I know I am only 1 week old into this game and my opinion may not be enough to backup alot of the other players statements, but i always believe in taking my time in any game I play and so far from what I see I will be in this game for a while.
Now of course I got a new computer system from Dell which is the XPS 720 with a 8800 nvidia card and loving the game, but I know not alot of people out there have the luxury to buy a new computer now, especially during these economic times.
Should've added Undecided.
I'll wait until free month is over and see how Funcom fixes all the problems, and then decide.
